at the start of the year i felt life, inno, and rain were in a tier of their own and the favorites for blizzcon. i ended up eating my words because rain was uncharacteristically sloppy and got demolished by fantasy. if life recaptures his form before blizzcon then it might come true.
blizzcon ro16 is looking insane though. every player seems to have a weakness whether inno against aggressive protoss, life against mech, or rain in PvP. sOs is a darkhorse when 100k+ is at stake as well. looking really good for Zest as well since he's slated to face Rain based on current standings.
let's just hope ro16 isn't played the weekend before blizzcon or if they do that they adopt the group stage format of GSL/SSL.
