MMA PartinG the Dark sKy

Today we travel to a mythical, far away land, where magic meets reality and giants rule unopposed. Through strength, cunning or deception these beings seek to carve out their own kingdoms, but events have transpired to pit them against each other.



The most well known and far traveled of the giants is Gulliver. He initially made his fame and fortune traveling far and wide to capture the hearts and minds of people everywhere. However his fortune changed when his ship marooned on a mysterious island. Battered and broken, Guliver looked all but lost were it not for the generous Lilliputs who sheltered him, clothed him and built him a new ship. While it's fair to say his prime is now behind him, that has not discouraged Gulliver from using his wits to set off on a new mission to recapture his past glory and perhaps even surpass it.



A strong and skilled warrior who often succumbs to his arrogance, Goliath is a sharp departure from Gulliver's more affable personality. Goliath is an imposing figure who towers over all men with pride. He revels in battle and is not averse to throwing himself headlong into a fray. While he is a mighty warrior in his own right, perhaps the strongest among his race, Goliath has one major weakness. His cocky persona can often get the better of him and he has been known to lose to people he deems inferior.



Jack's giant is relatively well know, but is often overshadowed compared to his greater brothers. Beanstalk Man has made his home in the skies, where he toiled for years to build his own kingdom. Over time he amassed great riches and grew prosperous. But then one fateful day, a giant beanstalk grew near the entrance to his kingdom and all manner of strangers came to steal his riches, including a man that called himself God. Despite being ridiculed, Jack's Giant outwitted and outmaneuvered the pretender and sent him crashing back down to earth. Now he readies himself for another epic clash.



The final piece in this titanic puzzle is Grawp. While his stature may be imposing and he is battle-tested, Grawp still lives in the shadow of his big brother. Grawp did everything in his power to stand out. He toiled long and hard to become stronger and he even developed its own unique fighting style, but to no avail; his most recent defeat even came at the hands of his own brother. Having been bullied for so long and learning some harsh lessons, Grawp enters the fray stronger then ever.



Predictions

Baring his cockiness getting the better of him, PartinG should sweep his group. His PvT ranks among the best in the world and his PvZ is incisive and deadly. Second place should go to Dark. Ever since his loss to MMA in GSL Season 1, Dark has vastly improved and is currently considered an anti-mech specialist with wins against, Dream, Keen, Maru and FanTaSy. That being said, sKyHigh and MMA are dangerous and can upset anyone. MMA's mastery over both bio and mech makes him uniquely equipped to establish the tempo against Dark/sKyHigh and crush them with multi-tasking.
