The Fan Federation For Fair Fiewing, or FFFFF for short, is an initiative by online fiewers to reduce the number of no-shows, bad shows and mid-tournament audio drop outs. Numerous online events have suffered from stream quality missing important pixels, delaying or pre-maturely ending broadcasts, disappointing players and organizers, and even playing a large part in the end of numerous events like NASL. Thus, the following fiewers are banding together to combat the problem through a new system we're calling Fair Fiewing Falidation.

Fair Fiewing Falidation Fair Fiewing Falidation is a system designed to encourage online events and streams to deliver a good, high quality show in a timely manner.
For those who want the tl;dr:
- Streams receive Fair Fiewing Falidation when they have no no-shows, bad shows and mid-tournament audio drop outs
- 1080p and 60fps is a must-have at all times
- Unreasonably long delays, stream or audio drop outs will immediately remove the Fair Fiewing Falidation status
The Why This is effectively a whitelist system for streams and tournaments who deliver a great show in a timely manner constantly. While it is with great hesitation and caution we implement such a system, we believe that the terms presented are fair and reasonable. If a host commits to stream a tournament, showmatch or event, they are expected to show up and stream with 1080p 60fps.
When a player or tournaments is not streaming, there is a cost for the fiewer. Less broadcast time because of no show means less visibility for sponsors, less time opportunities for subscriptions to be purchased, less chance for fiewership growth and brand awareness, less time to rant in twich chat.
Ensuring Quality and Fairness You are the fiewer, you have the power in your hands. Stop watching badly organized tournaments or lame streamers. Use the Fair Fiewing Falidation to ensure quality in StarCraft streams.
Q/A
How do I Join the Fan Federation For Fair Fiewing? Post " I am a fiewer! " in this topic.
What if there are medical or family emergencies / acts of nature that prevents hosts from streaming? With our zero tolerance policy, we won't accept any reason for a stream/tournament to not go on in a timely manner.

Someone should make one of these about people making these kind of threads

I know this is a joke, but it's also a real problem.
I hate introducing people to SC2, I show them the highest quality of SC2 in the GSL, and we have to watch in shit ass quality.

First picture applies to this thread.

I guess it had to be done

Unreasonably long delays? You can instantly blacklist all of sc2 tournaments right now. Gg no re.

Asking them to commit to 1080p60fps is a tall order because it is not feasible within Twitch's 3500k bitrate limit.

Fire and pitchforks guys Wait, this is not about FFF inquisition from Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu?

I actually like this more than Kane's garbage post. Much funnier

I am a fiewer and since the first season I don't think i have renewed my ticket to GSL for many of these reasons.... and the fact that they make you pay for it on top of it...
IMO there is Pro League which I'm an AVID fan of especially with Moonglade and Valdez at the helm on the english side. SSL is also good

FFFFF's membership plans a mass boycott in the use of the products and services of
Google, Microsoft, Blizzard, Twitch, Ebay, Toyota, JPMorgan Chase , Exxon Mobil , General Electric , Apple , Walmart, Samsung , Verizon , Johnson & Johnson , Procter & Gamble , and IBM.
as well a boycott of any product or service or industry adhering to IEEE standards is underway.
personally, i think the IEEE standardization process is fundamentally flawed and until its fixed products like SC2:LotV have no chance of gaining any kind of popularity and will always need constant incremental balance patches.

as an official member of FFFFF i must say the ESL/IEM/GamesCom thingie is going well so far.
we need to reward good live event production as well as punish bad production.
i've got $45 in Canadian Tire money laying around. Maybe we could grant a perfectly executed production with $2 in Canadian Tire money?

Am I the only one who looked up "fiewing" on google translator?

lol. what did it say?
|
if my proposed rewards program is introduced
and if the guys at ESL/IEM do a great job today.. they can take the $2 in Canadian Tire Money they get from FFFFF and use it when they are buying some Transmission Oil or a Gas BBQ at their local Canadian Tire.
i say the members of FFFFF take a vote on my new innovative rewards program
