I just hope the move will energize him. He used to be a top of the top level player, he was still getting a couple wins in PL, and you could still see the passion in him, win or lose. As for Prime...I think the team's time has finally come. They've already outlived just about all of their original eSF comrades, but by now they should just accept that there's really no hope for any meaningful improvement. Creator's last year was his worst ever in terms of individual league results, but was often able to save his team in critical moments as Prime's "ace" in Proleague. Even so, Prime was completely defeated in Round 3, and appears to be in a big slump. Gerrard said "Creator has stagnated in his results and wants to go move beyond that, so he decided to leave. Zoun, DeParture, Salvation) have yet to show anything particularly noteworthy, though at least they are definitely not as bad as the rookies that stayed (Terror, Tangtang). We've seen with Jin-Air that money can make a team work, and ESF teams never got any money or support that they were promised when they're giving their all to keep Proleague alive. All ESF teams get are penalties and restrictions that prevent their players from playing. Business Tip: To the teams that potentially will replace Prime, ask for A LOT of money. They need you way more than you need them in order to keep Proleague alive. And ask for the money up front. You can never trust the way Kespa does business. All in all, good luck Creator. I hope you find a nice foreign team to give you support and opportunities. | ||

Right now without a regular team league they seem to be suffering, but when they had GSTL they where really good. I feel so bad for YoDa though. He did so well when he was with IM and TCM. Suddenly, he dropped off when he joined Prime. Hopefully, if this does mean that this is the end of Prime, YoDa finds a KeSPA team where he'll re-find his form and show his dominance as a Terran. | ||

I agree with Prime having some hidden demon that steals the skills and ability of players when ever they join and they have made a name for themselves. With Creator, however, I think it puts more pressure on him: he left the team he's been on since his start and shown some of the best Protoss ever. Now, if he does join a foreign or KeSPA team, eyes will be on him to see if it really was the environment of Prime, which it most likely was, or if he really has lost his touch and should retire. The next however many days or weeks or months it takes for Creator to find a new team will dictate a lot, from my perspective. Creator isn't getting any younger and the field of Protosses right now is extremely strong (Classic, Rain, Stats, Zest, PartinG, etc.) so he has to prove that he has what it makes to be back on top. | ||

As crazy as this sounds PL is more interesting the more teams that are involved. It's possible in the future that 1-2 teams buy up all the good players. You could argue it's already happened. | ||
