I'd also say that all-kill slightly increases the chances of weaker teams, that can rely on their ace to even things a bit by winning a handful of games, whereas the usual format makes the ace contribute at most 1 victory, potentially 2 if it goes to the ace match (which is less probable for weaker teams, except between them...)
