My anti team is this because those players doesnt play week 1. B4 because i needed a zerg and his name is awesome
IMO classic/hush/skyhigh is the anti to have for week one
I totally disagree, skyhigh and hush can play the week after and any of them could take matches, Classic is likely to get to play, could easily take games and will likely get a lot of points just from his team winning.
Blargh, nice of you to share your spreadsheet, I would be very careful in putting too much faith in it. How many points players get is very dependant on which players they meet and even whch race they are matched against. Imagine Yoda (Who got quite a bit of points, mainly from TvT) not getting a single TvT this season. Tons of things effect how well a player will perform, I feel that getting players based on their relative level overall is a good bet. Dear for example, I'm convinced he will do a lot better this season compared to last season.
FPL is all about being able to predict which players wil outdo their score last season and which players will slump. Spreadsheets is obviously helpful but if you follow that you will never suck but will also never win.

But of course. After all, I picked Dark and Rogue last round, and they had no significant PL results prior to that. I usually use Aligulac match histories to support my decisions, in addition to whatever knowledge I already know from seeing players' games. I imagine Innovation will get more points this season, and Dark will get maybe a little bit less. This is mainly because I see Innovation being the main ace this time around (he never played one last time!). I have soO on my current team just because I think he has recovered from his past slump, and I think he will be played a lot more, even though he didn't do super great last time.
But players like Trap and Dream are totally under-priced, and the spreadsheet even shows that. Trap looks great right now, and he's clearly good enough for JAGW to play him instead of Cure. JAGW is choosing to play a 2-point player instead of a 7-point player!! The guy is a steal. [Edit]: It looks like in addition to wrecking everyone in the IEM Championship qualifier, he did very well in the Kung Fu Cup KR Qualifier! I can see Trap being one of JAGW's main players this round. Dream is less of a steal, but still a great pickup. His opening match is unfortunately the 4th one, meaning SKT will have to manage to lose a game for him to play that week, but Dream is still one of the best Terrans in the world right now (I'd say top 5). A top 5 Terran for 4 points??? That's a pretty damn good pick.
Of course, in both cases, it is likely that they will not be playing every single week, meaning they will need to be traded in-and-out, lowering their initial value a bit.
I like the Hush/Skyhigh combo in anti because it seems unlikely that they'll ever both be fielded in the same week. Therefore, one of them can always be traded off anti and later traded back in.
Cure was tempting for the anti but I just remember the San Surprise from round 1, week 1. Even though Samsung probably won't take Jin Air to the ace match, and even if they did Maru or Rogue would probably be the JAGW ace, the thought of those -5 points on day one was too spooky.

I agree on almost all points, I think it unlikely Trap will be played over Cure but I suppose its possible if Cure has fallen off hard. Care used to be really really good just a month ago, I agree with soO I think he will also beast it up again. I am a bit afraid of picking him though because I think he is still a bit brittle, if he gets a bad start I'm afraid he won't get his mojo back. soO is a little bit of a gamble in my opinion, Innovation I think will underperform compared to last season and Dark will perform about the same. Dream I definitely agree with you on, the only worry is if he will get play time seeing as they already have Inno.
my original team had Rogue instead of Solar (always been a huge Rogue fan and he has an easier w1 opponent on paper) but i have a feeling that Solar is gonna bounce back this round

Yea exactly my thoughts, we very nearly have a mirror team

The team you posted has two of the same players
Yeah didn't bother to edit it since I changed my team like 523492 times today
did you only put him at 2, so you could put him on your team better? this makes no sense to me, as he is playing in week 1 against an opponent that he can beat. any team that doesn't have him is probably a wrong team.
i was #31 in the last season, let's see how well the double gambit of flash and solar works out. i think either i will be at the very top or not at the top at all, lol. it all depends on whether flash and solar get their shit together and score massive pointz.
dream and trap are obvious value picks, sora is a small gamble, but he plays in week1. soo is just overall solid for 5. none of my anti picks are playing week 1. bomber will probably play mostly never and salvation is not dangerous. cure i might have to switch out but he is a little overrated at 7 anyways.
@TT1: hahaha our teams are always so similar. i also thought about hero and i think that samsung is a good choice for the team as well.
Main Team 2 Billowy (captain) Billowy's cheap and SKT. I hope he will just sit there and earn me passive points.
4 Dream Dream is a steal at 4 points. He will win games and is a SKT player.
6 Flash I don't think Flash's slump will continue. PL is his arena and he will train for the upcoming IEM too. I rely on Flash's experience and legacy a lot.
6 Rogue Rogue will play much, and is on an upwards trajectory with double ro8's.
5 soO This is an uncertain pick for me. soO haven't played too much for SKT, and his form seems so-and-so. On the other hand he plays for SKT, and i have a lot of faith in SKT...
2 Trap Trap is the best pick available for 1-2- points.
