Rogue I think will be a solid pick over time, even if he doesn't get to play this week (due to a 3-0). While he doesn't seem as good as he was, I still believe in him! The other potential pick was Stats, or maybe Solar, but meh. I like Rogue more.
Innovation is overpriced, but he got 27 last season, and if you look at the number of points players earned last season, and how much they cost this season, Innovation's points/cost is 3.0 (27/9). This is actually the highest ratio of points per cost. But I also think Innovation will be used as an ace more this season. And I'm an Innovation fanboy, so I must pick him :D
soO I believe has recovered and will now dominate everything. Or something like that. He looked like a solid pick, so I went with him. Plus I think he has a good chance at winning this week.
Dynamite is just the cheap throw-away player who should earn at least 4-5 points or whatever. Thought about picking Sora, though! Not that he has a chance in hell to win against Stats, or even of playing (KT might 3-0!)
Picked Samsung for team just because they seem like the strongest of the 2-point teams. Since the top 4 are so even, I think the points for the top 4 teams will be a bit lower. Maybe it'd be better to go KT Rolster for 5, but I dunno where I'd find the 3 points needed to switch. CJ might be okay, as well. Who knows.
The 3 Anti's are pretty much just the 3 highest players who aren't playing the opening week. I might need to switch Classic. Dunno yet.
I might do little trading this round due to laziness. But my team is pretty well-rounded and doesn't need too much trading. Hopefully soO/Rogue/Dream will not have absent weeks!

Those are both good teams. I would go with the second one for a few reasons. Both teams have four value-earning players but Losira's the only one on the first one that is pretty much guaranteed to play in every match (soO/Classic, Stats/TY, Rogue/Cure are likely interchangeable on the lineups), while on the second team Bbyong and Dark are almost certain to play at least six times and you'll probably see at least one of Dream/soO in every match. Additionally, Reality and Has are probably going to get the same number of points (Has might even get more) so you probably shouldn't spend the extra point on Reality.

Hoping that a SKT1 win will raise Billowy's points a bit so I can trade him later, Hurricane can maybe get one off his game this week, the rest IMO are semi-solid, anti-team isn't even playing this week.

Oh yes, I forgot about the STY players. It's actually a good idea to make the low-point players captains because you never plan on trading them. Since they are just there to fill up the last spot for a couple points, and won't ever play, it'd be silly to ever trade them for anyone else.

I finally remade my team so I'm decently happy with it, I'm still a bit unsure if I should get Sora or Trap, I think Sora has better chance of getting played more if he does well but Trap will probably get more points since his team will probably win more games. Sora has a chance against Stats since its PvP, it is a very slight chance though.
I have such a hard time with anti, all players are pretty good, I went with the players I like the least and salvation we'll see how it goes.

So, one of my ways of calculating value for players is to take their last round PL score, and then divide by their current costs. For example...
Innovation costs 9 this round (again) and he made 27 points last round. He retains his 3.0 Points per cost value (PPC).
Rogue costs 6 this round and he made 18 points last time. Now he has a 3.0 PPC.
Life costs 9 now, and he had only made 23 points. So he only has a 2.6 PPC.
If every player made the same amount of points this round as they did the last round, then it would be sub-optimal to include Life, because he is not as efficient as Innovation (3.0 PCC vs 2.6 PPC).
Obviously, players will not get the exact same points they did last time. I suspect Life might be about the same, however, as he has competition for ace position now (Zest, Stats, Life, even Flash are all perfectly capable Ace players). And then there are players like Solar, who have a NEGATIVE PPC. I think it's safe to say that he will do better this round, and might even be a good pick now. And of course, this is ignoring trading, a major factor in point optimization.
Still, it's helpful for seeing what kind of value a player like Losira will have this season compared to last (his old PPC was 6.67, and using his old points but new cost of 7, it's 2.86!!). If Losira gets the same number of points he did last round, he will be 43% as cost-efficient as before. He still isn't a bad pick, though!
HERE is the spreadsheet I made, if any of you guys would like to see the numbers yourselves. It's currently sorted by PPC, but I recommend just copying the spreadsheet for yourself, so you can sort by whatever you like. I actually just copy-pasted the stats from TL's FPL stats page, and then added the extra column, haha.
