It may seem random considering the cities in France, but not that much once you take everything into account. Looking forward to be there. Oh and to meet fellow TL members of course The only problem with Tours is that isn't near to a big airport so isn't easy to go there. It's time to spend lots of money for the eSport passion!
That's another problem indeed. But if you take your tickets early enough, Paris -> Tours shouldn't be that expensive.

Do you know if it is more easy/less expansive to do Paris --> Tours by train/bus?

there is a TGV line paris tours so train will be less expansive than bus (aournd 30€, 1h15) but i bet you can find pple to carpool with ( around 15€(for total cost of 50€gas and toll road), 2h30) edit: forgot the most important, no bus ^^

I'll definitely be there!
For the casters, I'm torn between having French casters that can bring the hype to the crowd (especially people who don't know much about SC2), and having English casters who will provide better analysis of the (hopefully) top-tier games.
I remember DH Moscow, where only Smix was on-site, and the panel was in Stockholm. It felt a little weird from a stream viewer point of view.

Dunno. Bus should be cheaper and will be longer, but after all, it's not _that_ far from Paris. Train should be like around one hour with TGV, two hours otherwise. With the bus, you can easily expect 3 hours I'd say. As for the price, the train company website still does not list these trips so no info about that yet.

I went on the TGV website but seems to be hard. Probably I'll go safe by plane Rome->Paris->Tours
Thx for your time

Why not just have French casters for the live audience and English ones for the stream? Just too many people to hire? That's kind of what they did in Moscow, having Russian casters on-site. The English casters were not able to interact with the local crowd, and Smix had a hard time engaging with the audience imo.

I had really hoped it would be in Paris or a city that's more to the east. Tours is unfortunately too far.

I hope you have better prices than me^^
