That rule makes no sense as the admins are not following it. There are players in WCS 2015 Season 1 who have broken this rule.

Edit: Just read they'll get a warning. I don't know what to say...

"Organizers reserve the right to enforce this at their own discretion." The very important part of that rule.

Read the last sentence of the rule and you'll understand.

While in general it is sad to see a player go, I am still happy that Lillekanin was disqualified. He stretched it way too far. WAY too far.

I think jeysen ban is too harsh, Gungfu is very much needed.

I'm not sure what's more funny: the bans on people doing stupid stuff or the reactions in this thread.

Also, this reminds of the whole Coca-Byun story. Kids being kids.

On Remax they made soime good points, he is only 16 after all.

Punish him for a season, like this, but not toooo heavily !

You're right it's just kids being kids, and as such, we should ignore any impact it has on the integrity of the tournament.

Sadly, the ban on out-of-the-game communication, while annoying, is quite neccessary and stupid Lillekanin for doing that, I would really like to see if he would have gotten banned just for the terrorist comment (and spew shit on Blizz if he would).

But the rules are so vague that this may turn into a "no fun allowed" situation very fast. In particular, I really enjoy when players are acting "unsportsmanlike" on social and unsocial media and I would hate that to end just because of some stupid offense-takers.

These disciplinary actions make sense and were fairly light. Where Blizzard goes in the future is the important thing.

Just let them scam the whole tournament because they're kids? Ffs

On the Lillekanin side of things, its a fair punishment since he broke a lot of rules, twice.
On the Naniwa stuff, he should be warned due to his behaviour, but also should Happy, calling him mentally ill.
It's all about the reflections of freedom. Even though he hoped for a better world, with all his strenght, all his will, the most he could do was to make her smile.

How about Blizzard acting in similar fashion regarding all the hackers out there...

I just wonder recently, in case of online tournament/match, how do anyone know if any of the player is not watching broadcasted stream, see tweet or chat while playing? If someone was using 2 monitors, can't they put the stream on the 2nd screen while playing?

So, accusing his opponent of maphack without any kind of evidence + calling him a "fucking russian" is fine?
Of course you have the right to ask for a delayed stream but cant you ask it in a less aggresive and racist way?

Good, Blizzard sets rules and enforces them accordingly. I appreciate this zero-tolerance policy.

That's not what I meant, though. If you're old enough to play in a tournament, you're old enough to follow the rules. I think the punishments are correct.

this, so much this

im getting tired by the fact that basically every notable NA streamer is saying their server is hacker-infested for months now, and nothing is happening... if you're gonna pretend you care about SC2, it really isnt that hard to filter through top 200 accounts on each server once a month.....

edit: im not just talking about guys like avilo who will accuse anyone that can use a mouse and a keyboard of hacking...
