this is going to be a more cut-throat team now that I've actually READ THE RULES and understand how the fantasy system works. KoMA LoVE 2.0 Main Team 5 Classic4 Cure3 Hush1 MisO (captain)5 Rogue7 soO 5 KT Rolster Anti Team 6 Creator3 HerO4 SanMiso is a throwaway so I can balance out the rosters here, also since you get a point for the player's team's win I get an extra +1 for my KT Rolster team choice. I've made him my captain so I have the liberty of trading all my players. Reading the rules, I've realized just how important it is to have players that make appearances rather than players you simply like as they get a free point for appearing, and only a single point reduction if they lose their match (and no point reduction for their team losing). Meaning it's practically zero risk (unless your player is likely to go into Ace matches and lose). Following the above logic I've chosen CJ's Hush (over Samsung's eMotion) for these reasons: 1: I believe CJ is going to beat Samsung's players in the first week; even if Hush loses I'm going to get the bonus point for CJ's win. 2: Because all 4 PvP players are going to be practicing with each other's respective teammates, I think Hush will get better practice playing herO. 3: Because he's 3 points, I get the opportunity to trade him for my (personal) favorite player Journey if I see that Journey will start being fielded; I think BravO is a shitty player especially since I've seen how he's played as hon_sin. My hope is that Samsung drops him after getting rofl stomped by Bbyong and goes with the ex SKT T1 Terran. Choosing Rogue when he's playing Flash may seem stupid, but again there's zero harm done if he does lose to Flash. Also bear in mind: Flash is on the downturn, his weakest matchup is TvZ, he has weak matchup practice partners compared to Rogue AND he has to prepare for both possible starting positions for FoxTrot labs. Rogue is actually higher than Flash on the Aligulac rankings and a lotttttttttttt cheaper. He's also guaranteed to be fielded regularly. Cure is another great (cheap) pick that will likely be on the field to support Jin Air. 1: He's playing on Overgrowth which is probably one of the better TvP maps from this season's map pool. 2: Cure is called "mini-Maru" for good reason. He not only emulates Maru's fast paced style and flair, Cure is good enough to execute it. Also bear in mind that Overgrowth is probably the best map for a fast paced TvP style because of how wide Protoss has to spread horizontally from the main to the fourth. Blink play is also considerably weaker here. (This is a minor note but Rogue and Cure also have the benefit of being slightly younger than Flash and Stats. I am a personal believer that age is a factor in this game) Classic has really impressed me lately with his gameplay. Although he hasn't been the most visible player following his bash on Soo, Classic has played some great games. On top of that he's almost always going to be fielded by SKT. He's definitely a higher tier GSL Champion than Seed, and for that matter SKT T1 is in all likelihood going to crush MVP hard. When I saw he was only 5 points, I remade my entire team centering around him so thanks Classic keep playing gr8. Captain Wooki unfortunately is no longer going to be with me  He'll be with me in spirit though as I have KT as my team pick so I can still cheer him on  Replacing Zest will be Soo who has been cheapened by his losses at various tournaments. He's going to rip Yonghwa apart. I was going to make him captain, but then I realized that there's a very real possibility that he goes into a slump after losing 4 finals in a row, so thank you Soo for making me realize the benefit of a 1 point captain. Also I'm going to get another point when SKT T1 will likely beat MVP. Anti's follow the same idea: shitty tosses that I think are overrated. Thanks you Ovid for catching my noobie mistake. | ||

My main team consists out of players that are cost efficient rather than star players. I expect every of those to be in the line up most of the time. Except for hush who is just very cheap i think every of my players have a good shot in beating whoever they will face. Anti Team 9 Flash (is heavily overrated with 9 imho and plays an even matched opponent with rogue)2 Salvation (not likely to be in the future line-up, also mvp will not win a lot of matches)2 Shine (not in shape, team samsung looks weak in general imho with only two top players dear and solar) | ||

A previous, very different lineup is a few pages back. I had Flash and Bomber, then Bogus, and Miso, and oh man. I decided to change my team to future SPL champs ST+YFW to free up a few points, and instead of betting it all on SKT I went for a more diverse lineup. I'm not interested in trading so much since I won't be able to give it the mental energy after the holidays (new year, new job, get hype), so I'm looking at players I expect to do well who aren't high cost, who may win some matches, and are on winning teams. Still hating on Samsung though? Every time samsung wins I will cry cry so much | ||

I'm pretty confident about Bbyong being in the roster for every match, and in his skills in general, so I just made him captain (normally would make the lowest cost player captain for more trading possibilities). I'm also hoping CJ will branch out from just having herO ace for every match; Bbyong's vP in particular is just as good as herO's. Classic, Cure, and TY are also quite likely to be fielded for every single match (the "lieutenants" of their respective teams). I also made sure to spread out my top players from each of the top teams. I really wanted to pick San from ST-YFW, but for some reason he's not being fielded, so I went with Leenock instead. Creator may have been Prime's best player last PL, but it's been a while, and he hasn't done anything since. Plus, that season his PvZ was distinctly weak (2-9). In any case, Leenock is still the 3rd highest Aligulac-rated player on ST-YFW (not counting Parting) so I think he's got a good shot at being fielded in a majority of ST-YFW's games. Finally, in the battle of the 3 pointers, I picked eMotion over Hush. They're very close; Aligulac has eMotion slightly favored, but that might be rating inflation from all the SEA, EU, and CN cups eMotion plays in. Still, I wanted someone from SAM instead of another CJ, and I think eMotion is more likely to get more lineup appearances (higher rated in SAM than Hush is in CJ). This is the pick I'm least certain about. Anti-team, I'm going with 3 medium risks instead of 1 big one. 1. Taeja will not play/will suck 2. Skyhigh's Hot6cup run was a fluke 3. Stork will not play/skills will decrease as a coach (see: Choya's pro record) That none of them are playing the first week is relatively comforting I kinda wish I had the balls to anti Dear, Creator, or Flash like some of these teams have, but I'm not willing to get bitten that hard, lol | ||

Since pretty much everyone good is expensive this round I decided to go for who I know will get playing time, over gambling on 3 cost players that might get playing time. I also picked both of KT's 1 cost players and if KT can go 5-2 than I'll be happy with the value. The anti team was a mix of who I think are the correct picks...and bandwaggoning with everyone else. We all die together! | ||

Most unsure about Solar and Hush. Hush is the best 3 IMO and Solar could be the ace, but could also be a bust. Could swap Classic and Bbyong for Solar and Hush, though I don't like Classic too much, but he has a good first week matchup. Anti Team, maybe Stork and Skyhigh for Creator and B4. Creator will get a lot of play even if he's overrated. Stork and skyhigh at least don't play week 1. | ||
