Well, Dreampool was fun for a while. But yeah, kind of terrible for pro players so...

Good move there, looking forward for the new maps, but if they're Blizzard's, I'm a bit anxious at what we'll get....

I'm dissapointed to hear this, Blizzard giving out to the pressure of a vocal minority. Oh well, to enjoy what I have left of the Dreampool.

Well, at my level maps don't really matter that much, so for me #Dreampool was fun. I am quite happy that Blizzard decided to include "classic" maps for the off-season.
But I can imagine it being frustrating for more skilled players

What % would you suggest? Mastery is difficult to come by, and you only dilute the meaning of the word and the league by essentially making it so that even worse players can achieve the same status.

I cant really comment on how big it should be and i agree on the fact that it should be kept small, but we went from 6% (or even 8%) all the way down to 1.4%. Perhaps the 2% of last season was a sweet spot.

Hallelujah! I was so excited about the old maps comming back in Season four... So many mamories. But then I found out that the memories were from watching the tournaments and the pros playing WoL... I found it so frustrating as zerg player with the amount of all-ins on every map during this season. Every stupid detail so abused... Thank you Blizzard... If they would nerve back the mines and hellbats it'll be awesome...

I'm having fun with the current pool but I can definitely see why they're doing this. A whole season with these maps must be pretty harsh for those who care about balance and all that boring stuff

Yeah, im so happy that Blizzard listened to the vocal "minority". Pro players aside, pretty much anyone who takes the ladder somewhat seriously is sick of the dreampool by now.
Ganzi beat me without stim. Ostojiy beat me with a nydus. Siphonn beat me with probes. Revival beat my sentry-immortal all-in.

In percentage there are way more diamond players who eventually achieve masters than master players who eventually achieve GM. No reason to make master league the last achievement for even more players. Knowing that you'll never ever have another league promotion (unless you're in the highest already) doesn't keep you that motivated .
