You apparently forgot how PartinG made his name..
It's not as easy to soul train a Terran!
Ppl tends to remember him nowadays for Soul Train, but back during mid WoL as that other guy said Parting made his name by revolutionizing templar usage vs Terran. He was the first person IIRC who would have random templars spread out around the map to flank terran armies.

And go 3 nexus into 8-10 gate agression and make me cry

I'll always remember Parting for those 2 things before the Soul trains. Probably because I'm terran.
Edit: that 1gate -> triple Nexus -> 8-10 gate was really something horrifying.
About time players get banned from the following tournament or some sort of punishment when they leave midway through.... Still it seems weird to have a wildcard when marineking should of got a bye in this situation.

Organizations want to make money. And people want to watch games. It's a win-win for everyone except for the MarineKing-Fans, for them it's a lose-lose.

Yeah it all comes down to the money part eventually but what I find weird is the fact he qualified for the IEM on 10th october so he knew he was going to play there and since the final are both on 7th December its impossible to play both tournament, He actually qualified to play in the hot6ix cup on the 11th November which is after he already qualified and won a fully paid trip to the IEM.
So why did he play or GOM even let him play in the hot6ix cup? I could understand playing the 1st round to see if he gets to Ro8 then cancelling his IEM apperance if he got through and if he lost go to the IEM.
Should of gave someone else a chance from the start of it really.
while I can´t argue that Par ting´s advantage against MK in HotS is immense.. MK played very differently from the way he used to play.. so much that he got significant wins against two very strong PvT players.... Really hope he can get past Parting...

Apparently GOM didnt prerule this scenario so it's only clever of Rain to do what he did.
Jesus, everyone who says MK should get a BYE is annoying me so much. What kind of an achievement would it be if he hadfinally won a GSL tournament while not having to play in the Ro8?...I swear I will be extremely happy if he wins the whole thing but I want to see him deserve it as much as anyone else would deserve it by going through every match.
+ I want to see MK vs PartinG more than anything else!

PartinG's templar play and 3 Nexus 10gate were one of the most awesome moments of SC2 history, for me. That's the reason why I will always love PartinG, no matter what.
and how many does Parting have now? does he miss out on those 250? if he wins the tournament does he end up with 500 instead of 750? if Parting loses to MarineKing does he end up with 0 points or 250?
