I think Take needs to be more open about how much of his own money (or that of his organization) he is about to pour into this project. I agree that it would be nice to have some more information on whether the crowdfuned money will go into paying off that loan or other things, but I think it's really unfair to say he's taking advantage of the community. | ||

Taking advantage of the community is players/casters begging for donations on stream when they're already making tons of cash with ads and sponsors etc. Here you're not giving to take himself but to a large crew that will host starcraft tournaments. | ||

It's something that does create a certain level of security, if down the line certain games are struggling to pull in headline sponsorships, at least there is a studio in waiting that can host tournaments. | ||
