INNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! SKT finally going back to their terran roots!! And what do they mean SK is taking a break!? Like a holiday or an indefinere break from sc2?

Fantasy and Bravo leaving. So three good terrans. Is it the most terran heavy in proleague?
Also I hope Dream can reach his potential under the T1 enviroment! T1 may not be the team I loved in BW but atleast they are going back to what they always were for me, the home of terran!
Soulkey is tired i think. His results going down. So nothing wrong to make a brake for the couple of month. INno in SKT is super news! Fanta, Parting and Rain still in this roster, but so bad that Rain going out.

I'm hoping he's just found jesus and christopher columbus and will take a thanksgiving/christmas break before jumping back in on 2015
I'm also hoping Rachel Weisz walks into my room and sucks my cock.
So with all the players leaving this will be SKT T1's lineup? INnoVation soO Dream Classic Dark Sorry They should pick up 1 more toss and their lineup is still sick good
I feel weird about this. I disliked Innovation on STX, but really began to love him on Acer. But when it comes to the telecom wars, I always root for mutually-assured destruction. So do I still support SK Telecom T1 Innovation or not?
Inno and Dream in to replace Fantasy and Bravo? Good going by SKT. Although their roster is looking a little thin now, especially in the Zerg department.
So is Soulkey actually taking or break from the game or did he just leave to get another team? Jin Air could do with another Zerg.

I was actually a T1 fan in bw long before anything else. But a new lineup and all toss no terran jaded me in sc2 so I cheered for my fav team so far in sc2 STX (rip ) and obv acer still my fav foreign team ! But I like every player in T1 now, they finally will use terran again as it should be aaand they have INno equals me back on board ^_^
Innovation great pickup.. just imagine if the other players would have not left.. a start up with Inno, Rai, soO, Parting, Soulkey, Classic. I can say that top3 players from SKT left (sry Classic). Still.. Inno, soO, Classic, 4th player makes this team a favorite vs almost all teams on paper.
SKT is going to be an almost completely different team next season... not sure if that's good or not.

Not really. There wasn't really any other team he was going to go to. Most people predicted SKT is where he would end up. Soulkey leaving is HUGE news, however. It's kind of out of left field, imo.

I hope Soulkey doesn't retire, he was the first Zerg I ever watched play back in the WCS Season 1 finals last year. Plus the KeSPA stock of Zerg is running really dry now Hydra has run off to the USA and effOrt's retirement.

Guess I would have to cheer for Inno in tomorows semis. T_T I liked Cure... I'm really sad, that Parting and especially Rain left SKT1. With Inno they would have really sick line-up. But if they will pick at least one good Protoss, their line-up gonna be really good regardless.

Honestly, with all love to Soulkey, his stint with T1 was somewhere on July's level.
Welcome to humble kingdom, Terrans, iloveoov will definitely love you. Still, if Proleague is going to be bo5, we have okayish roster with not much depth, somewhere on Samsung level this season, if legit Protoss joins, then T1 can challenge 1st place to Jin Air.

I'm kinda sad to see koreans after koreans leaving for foreign teams. For the majority of the korean pros, I understand them wanting to go abroad. Like DRG said kespa pays more but its not all about money. Kespa teams having strict training schedules and playing in a region saturated with the best can be overwhelming. And c'mon these guys are young in the adult world. Who wouldn't want to travel, have more chances of winning a premier tournament, live in a much stress free environment, and pretty sure foreign team houses are more spacious xD.
Because joining a foreign team looks so appealing, I'm just worried that some of the korean teams will disappear. I support the players but if monkey see monkey do, whats really gonna happen to the kespa teams? Those teams have so much history and prestige, that I believe it is crucial to keep the kespa teams alive. I don't know how to really express my thoughts but for example what if you're christian and one day God disappears (might be a bad analogy for the atheists).
I think there is a solution though. Can't kespa teams have alliances with foreign teams. Kinda like what happened long time ago with OGSLiquid. Maybe keep your best players in wcs korea and your mid-tier and lower players in na eu, then maybe have your players come back for proleague.
idk might not be so relevant to thread but this is just what I thought when seeing articles of more kespa pros wanting to go abroad.

That's surprisingly well rounded team. It's incredible that with such huge exodus of talent, SKT can pickup one excellent player and still look like title contender.
On September 25 2014 21:27 IntoTheheart wrote: What is happening to SKT?
They better draft some A-class rookies.
To be fair the team didn't have any sense to begin with: Rain, soO, Parting, Soulkey, Classic and INnoVation are all top-of-the-top tier league winners and finalists. And there are few additional players that would be considered top tier in any other team. It doesn't make any sense to have that many talented players - especially as KT shown that more cohesive team makes more sense for Proleague and is probably easier to manage.
Not surprising to see INoVation join but Soulkey leaving is a bit of a shock. Wonder if he will follow the trend of wanting a foreign team or if a KeSPA one will pick him up.

So weird going from "rooting against" to "rooting for". I would have really liked Rain to still be on the team, since he is one of the only tolerable Protoss, but whatever. At least soO is still on there. SKT vs SKT finals between Innovation and soO? Oh my.

He hasn't had a great year at all compared to last year.

I outside of Proleague these are the only tournaments he's played. Though he is playing WECG soon so we'll know how he's doing then.
Is it entirely beyond possibility that one of Parting/Rain return to SKT?
With Soulkey moving on (with his salary off the books no doubt), perhaps a combination of better contract terms + maybe worse than expected offers from the foreign scene, is a rethink that impossible?

Maybe, but it depends Rain and PartinG may have already signed contracts with other teams it just can't be announced until their contracts end with SKT.

Considering their star driven team only won 2 games and was defeated in a resounding manner, it's not like they are breaking up an unstoppable juggernaut. Their lack of a viable Terran option(s) was painfully exposed. As was the power of KT's cohesive, albeit less talented roster.
SKT still has a great lineup even with the huge losses of Rain and PartinG, and I'd be surprised if they aren't in the mix with Jin Air and KT for best Proleague team next season. Soulkey despite his recent inconsistency is still a top level zerg, and his departure would really hurt their depth.
In a BO5; INnoVation, soO, Classic, and some combo of Dark/Dream is still quite lethal. Maybe they will give ParalyzE more playing time (who hasn't impressed me), but it seems they may be in the market for another top Protoss. Especially if Classic continues to disappoint. If Soulkey does end up returning that obviously creates a much deeper overall roster, but if not another backup Zerg as insurance would be smart.
SKT would be wise to use the regular season to practice and prepare their 5th, 6th, and 7th options for the deeper playoff format which they should easily qualify for barring utter unforeseen disaster.
Wow SO much going on! Happy that Inno is back on a team, SKT.INnoVation, doesn't sound too bad. AND DREAM YES I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!! Hopefully he'll be able to find some success this year! Sad to see Soulkey leave, hopefully he finds himself a nice team and maybe at more foreign tournaments that'd be cool. I guess Inno and SK were meant to not be on the same team.

They still have ParalyzE, he is quite good. I think SKT is looking super scary right now. If they build chemistry and work hard this offseason, i think they will be extremely hard to rival.
I'm hoping all the Kespa Koreans leave and the Kespa teams have to pick up WCS AM/EU Koreans to fill the holes.
