Exactly same thing happened last year, just more. btw inb4 most of them returning to Kespa after first foreign team offers them 700/month with no food and no team house :D

Personally, Im actually happy if a few of them moves to NA/EU. Im more than a little tired of seeing Taeja, MC, Polt, Stardust, HerO, Hyun, Jaedong, San in the top of every single tournament. This might even open up for new talent in Proleague. Im waiting for the next Maru!

What? This exact thing happened every year even in BW. Contracts end, new contracts are being negotiated. Bear in mind that we have several direct quotes from Kespa representatives that Starcraft 2 is in MUCH better shape then it was same time last year. There's nothing more to it. Same thing (even worse, cause there were retirements instead of 'joining foreign teams') happened last year. And same thing was also happening in BW, although that was only Kespa teams shuffling players between them cause there was nothing else :p

It was still a massive deal in BW whenever A-teamers switch teams, Bisu going to SKT from MBC basically killed MBC's chances at playoffs for instance. It's not common that 4-5 A-teamers suddenly all jump ship.

People are still used to their BW salaries, and Teams are offering lower salaries in general due to lower number of fans and sponsorship. This is pure speculation and maybe some people with more insight can comment on this.

There will be another season for sure. Teams are just negotiating new/old contracts. It happens in every sports, especially in soccer

I'm just worried because there are so many changes going on in Korea and outside aswell, it just doesn't seem stable.
