you have psychic powers?
maybe not powers, but problems
Maybe I hit a nerve. Maybe you just don't want to accept that Effort doesn't look likely to win anything anymore. The fact is that a bunch of guys are leaving their teams to join foreign teams for one last blaze of glory before the military. Marineking for example, explained this was his reasoning, practically word for word.

The fact is that if they stay in KeSPA they can only win GSL outside Proleague. Obviously living visititing the world doing DH/IEM/RedBull/etc. is more exciting then stay full time in korea, especially if u are like PartinG, Rain or Effort that u already achieved some 1°st places in your carrier.

That does sound reasonable but like I said, Effort just doesn't look like a top korean. DH, IEM, etc may have way weaker player pools than any korean tournament, but still the ro8 will be all koreans. A few tournaments/months later you'll see Effort retiring. Unless he wins something, which I think is unlikely.
Does 'foreign team' for Koreans mean "EG pays you money while you practice alone and stomp people in lower-tier tourneys for college money", or do they actually play with people already on the team?
So many top players leaving their teams . Without Proleague i can't take SC2 seriously anymore . I wonder what an average pro makes nowadays ? Gone are the days when Flash gets over 300 000 $ annual salary without counting his winnings . How do top players expect foreign teams to pay them high salaries and send them to events all over the globe ?
I am a CJ fan since the Coach Cho with Savior - Much - Iris generation . Passing the torch to Effort - Movie - Skyhigh and then Show - Hydra - Bunny and now herO . Now i don't know whats left of CJ anymore ...
i just hope everyone realizes its not all about the money. maybe these guys just didn't want to stay in korea or something the teams will be fine and it will challenge them to bring up new talent. always look on the bright side
Its pretty crazy.. Out of the BW A-teamers still on their original teams, you still have the KT core of KT: Flash, Action, Stats, Zest Samsung: Stork, RorO, Reality, Shine SKT T1: soO, ParalyzE CJ: HerO, sKyHigh Jin Air: Speed At least KT/SamsungFlash, Action, Stats, Zest is keeping strong..but damn.. EffOrt/Hydra were the face of CJ with Sky and herO SKT T1 without both Fanta/Bisu doesnt feel the same... Maybe JangBi wants to return to Samsung and make things right again

And I hope the Koreans realize you need money to send your players abroad. Even if you don't give them a penny as salary, fly them around costs a lot.

I doubt Jangbi will start playing sc2 again.
Well I guess if the offer is right He actually liked the game and he was kinda 'forced' to retire by January and Samsung management after they treated him like shit Wouldn't be too surprising to see him play again, I guess. /wishful thinking

That would destroy every team in SPL including my beloved KT T_T..
Nah. KT would shit all over this team, like they did to SKT in the finals.
SKT had: Classic, Parting, Rain, Soulkey, soO (and Dark) as their finals team, and still got rekt. This lineup looks more scary that the free agents list above.

Still holding out hope for a JangBi comeback. That would be glorious.
