Well, I'm sorry, but this might be my fault. After all these years as SKT1 fan, I somehow realized that I don't have much passion for the team anymore (Boxer and Bisu not with team anymore, Fanta not doing well). Even in last proleague finals, I cheered for KT, especially Flash.

Yesterday, I felt it is time to switch my favourite team in my TL profile to KT. Today I wake up and this happens. Coincidence

Jangbi was good, but he in all truth was very lucky to make it to the finals of the last OSL and actually win it. Zero had to choke, Fantasy had to choke, fine he won, it still doesn't make him the best. It's really easy to look at who won a certain finals and just bend the narrative to "he was the best player" when there were other factors in play and also I'm not saying that Jangbi won by luck in the Tving finals, he played better than Fantasy, but that's because Fantasy choked and didn't play like he had throughout 2012.

What The F. Did not see this coming at all! Lots of changes coming, it'll be good for SC2 scene overall I think. Imagine them playing in WCS NA. It'll be "sick" as Rotty would say.

Yeah, unlike Fantasy Jangbi doesn't choke in games where it really matters, hence he is the better player.

Also, I don't Fantasy really choked in the last finals. It looked more like Jangbi dismantling him with well prepared builds.

At first I was sad and felt upset, but honestly this is great for foreign Starcraft 2. With so many players going abroad it's going to make international tournaments even more exciting. However, for the first time in 6 years (2008 when Bisu joined SKT) I must consider if I will remain an SKT fan when the staff and players are nearly completely new or find a new team with players that I'm passionate about.

I think this is partly SKT's fault for not sending their players overseas more. Proleague was Bo5 for most of the year and they had 7 players in Code S. They should've easily been able to send 2 players to foreign tournaments.

I would find it amusing if Blizzard's region lock backfires. All the mediocre Koreans go back to Korea. They will be replaced by better Koreans who foreign teams are willing to sponsor visas for.
