Pretty entertaining interviews, I love the unfiltered dialog hot bid seems to bring out in people. iNcontroL is starting to look like Thor every time I see him lol.

I know what Geoff is trying to say and he probably knows it too but 40k is a turn based strategy game not a real time one. Other than that minor pet peeve of mine, glad to see that he seems happy, healthy and passionate (ehehehe).

Im so glad hotbids doing interviews again....they're always the best ones!
Are these from day 2 or day 3 MLG? Also, are you gonna interview MLG.Adam so you can rub it in his face you won and immortalize him in blue?

Great to see HotBid interviews again! Lovely to see InControl seem to be doing so good!
Incontrol! Your hair is great
|
Love the Incontrol interview. I have to admit I was a bit lukewarm to Geoff in the past, but I'm I got over all my nitpicking and see him as just a dude.
All the best!

Don't follow Starcraft, still watch every hb-interview! Keep it up man!!!!111111

Hotbid interviews are always so fun. Ncontrols especially was my favorite. Have to say Geoff your hair is past the awkward stage and into the sexy stage. Definitely giving off a nice Thor vibe. I actually enjoyed catz commentating a lot. Especially paired with day9 since day9 has more then enough hype on his own. The hotbid is theoretically a sexy stripclub owner convo had me rolling.

Geoff, if you are going to grow out your hair, for that French look, do GET IT CUT. Trim it, even it out, make it look good. If you are going for a beard, TRIM IT! Make it look like you are trying to grow one. As of late you look like a bit of a bum, or that you might not be able to afford a haircut/grooming supplies. Do try to take pride in your appearance. As for arrogance, having met you before, you do have that "im a star" aura about you. You might be able to prove that you are justified in feeling deserving of your success, but like any sport or acting, you are only as good as your last win, or as good as your last job. Once you feel that you should have something because you already deserve it, you won't work as hard for it. Keep in mind you are still very young, and very inexperienced in the working world. A good interview though, HB always has pretty interesting ones, though these felt repetative.

Hot bid and Catz fucking hilarious.

good job with all the interviews, pretty entertaining. incontrol should make use of that hair...like styling it like vincent vega in pulp fiction...that would shut up some people lol

Dude like I said, I know you know, relax :b I am just saying it so some random person watching won't think "damn a real time board game, that sounds chaotic" and also partly because I can't fucking help myself.

your hair is great

Oh man Hotbid always does awesome interviews, and Geoff always gets people hating on something of his haha.
|
Speaking on tabletop/boardgames, it's a shame RTS/strategy fans in general aren't giving wargames a chance. Wargames are super-competetive and crazy depth to it, see Twilight Struggle (cold war) or Eurofront 2 (ww2) for example.

I don't need to learn any rules and it's incredibly complex games with huge depth. But I'm lazy.

Incontrol, Geoff, you sir are a scholar, a good man and I'm very happy that you're here! <3

Great interview. I always had the impression (sorry, just an impression) that Smix came off really ditzy. This interview is an eye opener!

Awesome interviews Respect for Geoff ^^

I'm amazed at the willingness of men to give unsolicited grooming advice.
I also think the "star aura" you refer to is simple confidence. It's quite a foreign character trait in the nerd world.

roflI that stripclub business owner stuff on CatZ interview
|
Loved the interviews, both Hot_Bid and Incontroll, Smix, Catz, Tod and especially Scarlett
edit: And Day9 of course! <3
|
Hot Bid is everyone's ideal woman, lets be honest.
|
CatZ is the man... kind of whatever interview though I wish it was more substantive and less about some weird hypothetical Hot_Bid date

The funny thing is his wife is a pageant winner. I'm pretty sure he has connections in the fashion industry xD
For any long haired man, the words "get it cut" are equivalent to "fuck you." You can tell he does put time into styling it for events.

I dunno but it seems that Hot_Bid always speaks more than the interview partners!!

Keep up the good work Hot_Bid. Love the occasional awkwardness in your interviews.

In that case I'd have to say, a trim is incredibly counter productive. You just outgrow whatever style it is, and prolong your time in the awkward phase, where invariably people will tell you just to give up constantly.

I am still confused.
co optional podcast 37 ( 15 May) Jeff says all the time he is a professional Starcraft 2 player. Now he says he is not. Did I miss his retirement? So confusing

He's a caster now, but he still attends tournaments. He hasn't won a recorded game since early 2011, I think, but he still plays to be the best caster he can be.
