Oz joins Planetkey Dynamics! Read the official Statement below:
--------- "Dynamics goes International, together with our new Team Manager Janine (Furaha), a new Player joins our SC2 Roster. Kim "Oz" Haksu is the new Teammate of GunGFuBanda, before Oz joined us, he played for Fnatic and Evil Geniuses.
Kim "Oz" Haksu will be playing in WCS and Qualifiers for IEM, DH, and more for Planetkey Dynamics. For our Team it is a new perspective to go international with Starcraft 2.
We look forward to a great future with our new Team-Manager Janine and our first korean player Oz!"
Here some words from Head of Project Sven „sVN“ Sprenger:
„For us it is a new journey to go International in SC2 too, after we founded in August 2013, we are growing more and more and we think that Haksu Oz Kim is a good player with a good perspective to go forward in WCS and IEM Tournaments! We are happy and proud to present you Oz in our SC2 Roster!“

Kim "Oz" Haksu will be playing in the Korean ProLeague o.O

Glad Oz has some more support now! GL to both parties.

Always good to hear that teamless players find teams. Also haven't heard of this team yet, so also possibly good to see a new team.

Whoa what? Wonder what team he will be playing in Proleague for.

A little disappointed by this, after taking so long to find a team I would have hoped he would have joined one that had some reputation. Is a cdkey selling website really the best he could find? Best of luck to him though!

Sounds good! Know which team he's playing for in PL but I'll keep my mouth shut

Surprised that after all this time this is the team he settled on :/ but who knows? By far the most interesting part of this announcement is the fact that he will be participating in Proleague. We'll see which team he partners with.

Didnt Oz live in the IM house and practice there? I'd guess he'd play for STIM

Its a more or less known german team. GungFuBanda is a solid GM protoss ( http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/GunGFuBanDa ). They also had Tarrantius a while ago, he went into retirement though. Havent heard anything bad about them yet.

But still a good news nevertheless and even can participate in pl which is a big bonus.
Treat oz well planetkey dynamics!

WHAT ? Planetkey Dynamics have OZ ?

Now on the same team as secretOP player Gungfubanda :D

I dreamt MC (The Boss!Toss) made a SC2 clan and recruited Oz.
|
he probably joined them because they can send him to foreign tourneys, which i'm sure he wants to do. known or not, good to see Oz on a team because he's a hell of a player!

we think that Haksu Oz Kim is a good player with a good perspective to go forward in WCS and IEM Tournaments! We are happy and proud to present you Oz in our SC2 Roster!
Speculation: IEM and WCS pay for the flights (WCS only within the same continent if they haven't changed it), no mention of DH and MLG. I guess they give Oz some low three digit salary and that's it.

I wanted to see Oz playing for some powerhouse, maybe even CM Storm would create an awesome trio but this is not that interesting since he will stay in Korea to play Proleague without participation in European tournaments and stuff
|
Glad he'll be in PL and that he has a team, but its a bit sad that he isn't on an established team. Hope that whoever he teams with for PL can also give him some good practice support so that he can keep getting better!
And if you know what PL team he'll be playing on, either tell us or keep quiet. Taunting us does no good!
|
That's... uh... better than being teamless

But yeah he's apparently buddy with Red Bull. Red Bull is buddy with StarTale. StarTale is buddy with IM. IM is buddy with Oz It's IM

I love these scumbag cdkey websites who put the logos of Valve, EA, and Blizzard on their site despite having no official relationship to them besides opening and scanning their retail game boxes.

This is a bit disappointing, was hoping for a proleague team. No I wonder how he will play in Proleague, if they partner with a team that would be cool, but I never heard of them so I have no idea why kespa team would work together with them. Good luck to Oz, maybe this works out somehow .
Edit: Well he could play for IM since he lives there, I have no idea why he can't just join them then though. But if he is basically am IM player and the key website pays his flights for foreign tournaments that's a nice deal. So why not.

But why all this negativity? This can't be so bad news?

It's definitely cool in the sense that he arrived yesterday for the WCS America Round of 16, won his group and looked great doing it - which was immediately enough to convince these guys. Hope he keeps doing his thing.

I was always hoping for him to join TL ;_; But I'm glad that he was able to find a team!

Well, he said he wanted a team that was more of a family environment so I'm guessing this was what he was looking for. I'm sure they will take good care of him, and by him already partnered to participate in ProLeague it looks like they are willing to send him places to show off his skillz. GL to Oz and Planetkey Dynamics.

Hmm... He had pretty good results in 2013........

Glad to hear that he's found a place to be. Hearing that he'll be playing in Proleague is wonderful news as well. Towards the end of EGTL, he was showing some pretty good games. Maybe he'll end up being picked up by the aforementioned KeSPA team!
Anyways, looking forward to seeing him stream a bit and obviously, seeing him in PL.

Happy he found a team, but kinda was hoping for a better one. Oh well, gl to oz!

They make a post about a player joining their team and they dont even post a link to their website? This team wont last long...

First time I might actually use/buy something promoted by a team.

More surprising to me is how no one is asking who the fuck Janine is?
Edit according to twitter she is the team manager ...
|
Planetkey Dynamics sounds like a evil corporation in Portal 3.
|
Planetkey is one of the biggest game and downloads comparison sites in germany and sponsors taketv!
please come down!
|
Who? Thought he would have gone somewhere that had more of a name.
|
I think the whole purpose of sponsoring Oz is to be known, and the fact that so many of you are asking "Who?" (others might have googled or checked out the twitter account) and found the website is probably what they are trying to do.
After finding their site, I understand why they didn't link it. Majority of the articles appears to be in German, except for the one regarding Oz. Perhaps they are developing an English site for the international market.
I hope the best for Oz and his new sponsor though.

EG better watch out for a possible Jaedong poach

Looking forward to that 1 oz team where every match is all kill format with Oz getting fielded every match.
|
Sick for Oz, I think. I never heard of these guys. They have only 2 players? That's a little, but sometimes, that's not a bad thing.
I hope Oz brings them a lot of victorys, and grow together.
|
OK so - even MC has an "unknown" team, but still produces good results..
SC2 f.t.w., go Oz

Well but planetkey dynamcis COULD potentially be somewhat serious and legit with their SC2 thing. http://www.planetkey-dynamics.de/index/awards/list/start/0/sort/1 they seem to be building up their eSports stuff since late 2013. So lets wait and hope for the best

I wish him more forge firsts in pvp...

OZ probably going to become the new ace for SKT T1
They kind of need someone new, didn't even make playoffs
Seriously happy for Oz, was hoping he would join Samsung and lead them in PL.

I thought Oz wanted to join a family o.o
|
While I'm happy for Oz, this is kind of a shitty team he's joining... a player of his caliber should be either joining a better team or getting a more reliable personal sponsorship IMO.
|
Not to say planetkey is isnt awesome for signing OZ but i am surprised that (i assume) he was offered less and took this.
|
Good luck OZ and Planetkey!:D
|
Cd key selling websites are so shady, especially the Chinese and Korean vendors, a lot of them would steal products and sell the keys or sell used/hacked ones.
Hopefully plaentkey gives OZ what he needs, very surprised about this.

This is an odd one, I don't think it is the right move long term.

Well, the team does have a concrete commercial website behind them and planetkey have been sponsoring several things with Take. So while they are very new in the sc2 mainstream, I do not think it is fair to compare them with LYGF. Also it is just one player (yet) and it was preceded with couple of member retiring.

LOL the desperation. A CDkey website? really?

Hope the best for Oz. He deserves a good support around him. Good luck on the new team.
