Is TL so angry on Taeja that even they banning his fans ? Most of us including Taeja feel EXACTLY the same. Shame on TL for so Bias behaviour. I bet Moderator it a Toss player, cant explain otherwise. Look to the top of the thread and observe the note about balance whine. You know that how? Taeja ragequiting vs Stardust is pretty telling of his view toward protoss. This Thread about Taeja and it's ridiculous to speak about his decision without including the reason of his retirement. Seems like in this thread TL wants us to only express our good bye to Taeja, otherwise ban hammer comes down. He is thinking about retirement due to wrist injuries. Balance has nothing to do with it. That is why the note is there. You know that how? Taeja ragequitng vs Stardust is pretty telling of his view toward protoss. Well people will see what they want to see.
So do you.

I don't think you know the meaning of the word disgusting.
Choice of word way to get around the ban hammer?

Oh get over it and stop looking for something that isn't there. Taeja is a class act and wished sOs luck because he is a good guy. Exactly. Man people sure are negative, feels more like to me Taeja is saying since he beat him, he hopes sOs gets far. People need to stop looking for loop holes to whine about balance and appreciate the sportsmanship.

If he retires, he will go down as the best terrain the history of sc2. This guy NEVER disappointed I remember when he was on NEX clan and he was rank 1 grandmasters on kr. He's come along way since then.

Team Liquid will virtually never win a team league again if Taeja does decide to retire.
He just needs 3 more medals, 1 being gold to beat Mvp for most Premier tournament wins!
|
Okay TL, now you just have to get Supernova on the team so you have at least 1 good terran.

That's like keeping a thread coherent and flamefree.

Oh noes. Well Taeja has had a pretty good career. GL to him in the future.
|
glad to see taeja has this thinking cap on. time to move on buddy, u fared much better than 95% of the players out there. retire with your head held high.
|
It's like the 5th time he will retire right ? gl to him.

To those who think Taeja tweeted this to show his attitude to the state of the balance: i bet you guys just didn't follow him for a while. Even though he had great results, and i personally consider him as the BEST terran in the history of sc2 (at least the MOST consistant), he's been showing his lack of interest in this game for a very long time. He stated DIRECTLY in some interview last year, that he lost any motivation to play (and its only his brother whos support makes him stay or something). Just look at his overall attitude towards the community, how he behaves (last interview before IEM for instance). He just acts like doesn't give any fcks. Don't get me wrong. I don't blame him or think that's inapropriate in any way. I feel the exact oppsoite. I respect him as a player, a proffessional (and his is professional considering his young age) and i really like he puts everything straight without faking anything.
p.s. what i rly don't like about latest happenings (naniwa and taeja)... Most accomplished players retire (or tend to retire, lose interest, can't find motivation). That reeeeaally makes me sad. Don't want to start the "deadgeijm bs" flame, but this isn't a good indicator to what's happening to the scene. It seems that it all comes to where it belong... back to korea. Foreign scene is dropping even deeper (NASL, WCS AM...), naniwa retiring, scarlett and state moving to korea. Who's left guys? Do you hope any foreigner whould make it to WCS Globals this year. I can bet anything that won't happen. Meanwhile in KOREA... SPL viewership tripples and nexon arena is stacked with fangirls even on monday.

Retire? Or a long break? We will shortly see.
|
He did mention in an interview that he did not feel his state of play was good enough to win the tournament, so I do not believe this is a direct responds to that or imbalance. Hope he just takes a breather and comes back with a refreshing mindset!

Also, Taeja a bit of a drama queen. People see what they want to see they say.
Really hope he'l continue. A legend!

As it tears my heart - Ryan Giggs will retire some day as well. BTW foreign scene is Europe too And EU may not have any top class player _right_ now, it may change(go TLO! )

America needs a stable tournament, something like what WCS America is for Koreans. I think it's pretty hard even for popular players like CatZ or qxc to keep up in exposure with more successful players when they don't get to play certain bigger tournaments regularlily.
