Grubby/ToD also carried 4K during their prime. These two and SoJu/ReMinD top the 2v2 ranking in my book. American 2v2 like Ax/Strife or LongWalk/kiwi were flashy but not solid enough. Chinese duos were just lame The Transatlantic Showdown 2v2 was great. Strife/Ax vs Moon/Luci in the finals, Grubby/ToD in 3rd. I agree with you, except I give Ax/Strife a little more credit. They had they best teamwork in the world when it came to 2v2. Obviously they weren't nearly as skilled as Moon or Luci on an individual level (let's be real, Moon/Luci is scary haha), but teamwork wise they were better. I think that is the only reason they were able to compete vs top tier teams, because not to bash Ax or Strife, both amazing guys, but they weren't much better than NA amateur scene level when it came to their 1v1.

He was not that successful in sc2, mainly because he did not like the game. Going to miss his wc3 awesomeness.

Hey he made the finals of some pretty big tournaments like IEM world championships and dreamhack early on in SC2, not bad results for someone who played two games at once.

Yeah I really wouldn't say that he wasn't succesful. He got very far in many tournaments and even though he wasn't the best, he was still really really good.
