Welcome to the Anti-Fan Hall of Fame. This is where we get to display the players we, the fans, love to dislike/hate/scorn. Whenever there is a sport, we always have that specific archetype (e.g: Tom Brady during the Patriots Dynasty or Italians if you are an European football fan). Again, this thread is meant for fun and harmless bantering against certain players.
Here's the rules: READ THEM BEFORE YOU POST!
1) Pick your nominees! State good reasons such as results, playstyle, and narrative that makes that player into the ultimate villain. Here's an example: RorO: The Zerg who stole the GSL championship from Symbol, who was considered to be a tragic Zerg hero wanting a championship, won the GSL's Best Zerg Award for 2013 (no, I'm serious!), ruins your Fantasy Proleagues, and many more. I really can go on!
2) If you want to sign-up for the anti-fan club, just post on this thread and your membership will be included.
3) No balance winning EVER! Statements such as PatchToss or PatchZerg are buzzkills, so don't ruin the party, if you have nothing fun to say.
4) Controversial picks such as NaNiwa aren't acceptable. Yes, players like he can be hated, but let's avoid arguing, okay? If you want to swing your mighty sword of self-righteousness, then show your disgusting e-penis elsewhere.
5) Don't pick players who have a special charm like Stardust, who is called the Cheesedust. For example, I don't like HuK's playstyle and attitude, but he is not a good nominee because a lot of fans especially those in NA love him for previous championship wins and his humorous banter (with probe making hearts). In other words, make sure that your pick is not super personal.
6) Be civil. Therefore, no heated debates. If you disagree with a pick, then just banter or make light-hearted criticism about it.
7) Jokes about these players are always welcome!
Have fun!
Anyhow, here are the honorary members!
RorO: The Epitome of Evil Just look at that smug, ugly face!
Aside of his Brood War career for infamously destroying Fantasy Proleagues, his debut manifested his infamy to greater heights. When he started on the WCS Korea qualifers, he killed off the Seed's GSL championship honeymoon. Sure, Seed was able to qualify for WCS Asia, but oh boy, he wasn't done yet. When he met Seed again, RorO sealed Seed's fate to qualify for the championship by nabbing that last seed spot.
Now, let's get onto how RorO got into Code S. He killed off the dying AcE, Ryung who is suffering from the Slayers drama, and DRG who seemed to have lost his mojo after his surprising defeat against MC from last season.
What's makes RorO such a grave threat is his tenacity. Sure, he was killed off brutally in WCS Championship by losing to IdrA and HerO and getting kicked out of his Code S spot. But boy, does he come back? After killing of MC and the new son of Boxer, Fantasy, he is back with a vengeance.
As he arrived, RorO killed the King of Wings Mvp, the WCS Champion Parting, the new GSL winner Life, MC, the lovable Terran hope Taeja, and Symbol whose GSL championship was considered to be long overdue. As a result, he got his first GSL win and brought an ugly conclusion to the last Wings of Liberty GSL tournament.
In the Heart of Swarm, RorO, however, was exiled from the spotlight due to his inability to qualify for the WCS Season finals, loss of Code S, and his hilarious losses against Dear in the Hot6ix Cup. But at the end of year, RorO still got the last laugh by winning the Best Zerg of Year Award, even though the nominees such as Symbol had better results than he did.
Also, his playstyle shows versatility because he does utilize early-mid game aggression. However, his infamy rises again in Proleague when he brought back the WoL trauma of the super turtle Brood Lord/Infestor with spore crawlers, Swarm Hosts, and Vipers.
RorO kills off fan favorites and will always get his hands dirty to win! No matter how many times you kill him, he will always be back like that annoying Imprisoned boss in Skyward Sword. Pray to God that he will grant us SC2 fans the wish to put RorO in SC2 hell for good!
SURPRISE! Remember me? I'm fucking RorO, your worst nightmare!
During his debut in Code A, Sniper was a relatively silent killer by killing the once-Tastosis's favorite Clide and the foreign hope Sen. As time progressed, he gained notoriety by becoming the foreigner assassin and landed his shots against NaNiwa and HuK, who was humiliated with a Snipe Crawler rush. More importantly, when Slayers were competing in the GSTL during the peak of their drama, Sniper didn't care. If women and children were in his way, he would kill them. Since Slayers was gaining momentum, Sniper was picked to end YuGiOh's road and even made Eve cry on stage (okay, maybe Eve was pretty sensitive and go onto the Slayers roster through questionable means, but still Sniper made a girl cry OMG!!!). During the GSL finals between a fan favorite HyuN, who was riding the hype train with 14 win streak in IPL fight club, Sniper crushed fans' hearts by taking it all. Now these days, we don't see Sniper anywhere, which is evident by his poor showing in 2013. But Sniper might secretly be plotting his revenge when everyone least expects it. So, fellow anti-Sniper fans, be on your sights ready on him! We don't want this to be the dark horse who pulls another horrible upset!
BOOM! HEADSHOT! No, not that type of headshot, you sick bastard!
BitByBit: So bad that he even has his own meme! Wait, how is that possible?
Here's the recipe for the SCV/Marine cheesecake: + Show Spoiler +
1) Find a pan filled with bad maps having close rush distances and Zerg opponents with range 3 Queens 2) Pour the Barracks that didn't require supply depots batter onto the map. 3) After the Barrack batter is finished baking, apply fruits called Marines, SCVs, and Bunkers with 30-35 building time. 4) Add the whip cream called stutterstep micro for additional flavor.
None is necessary. That's right! That's how much he is hated/mocked!

No. You can dislike anyone as you like, but I really want to avoid people getting too carried away with controversial or polarizing players. Like I have stated, I'm not a fan of Stardust or HuK, but I leave those feelings to myself.
Also, the ones I have picked are relatively accepted for having a large density of anti-fans based on TL articles.
It's hard to choose someone according to your strict criteria, but I guess Soo raises my hackles. He plays an extremely standard zerg style, and not even well enough to be very visually impressive, but he strung together that oddly successful run that last GSL, and he didn't even look champion-caliber in-game while doing it. Maybe it just felt like other zergs that are more fun to watch or have been proving themselves in SC2 for longer deserved it more, but it's hard to identify exactly why I dislike him.

No, I can relate with your discomfort. I don't like his playstyle either, but unlike RorO or Sniper, his story doesn't fit the villain very well. Also, it's not a Hall of Fame if the standards aren't strict
4) Controversial picks such as NaNiwa aren't acceptable.
This thread had potential.
If enough people want him, then I might consider it and change the rules a bit, if necessary. I remember when Zealously wrote an article on NaNiwa's road to BlizzCon, the responses were very messy. But, for now, I'm just playing it safe.

you should put up polls for nominees. That way, its TL with the final decision on who is in and who is out, and not just you.

Yeah, that's a very good idea! Put it up for you NaNiwa haters!
Sniper and especially RorO are cool, I would never antifan them :D as far as I can tell this HoF is basically the Injustice League that stuchiu so persistently pushed in the LR threads. So you could get some inspiration from that, although some of the members like hyvaa and TheBest have become fan favorites for their wackiness :D

If roro and sniper belong here, I think you should add Jjakji aswell. Imho DRG, but that is because he makes unfavorable upsets and can be such a cheesy dick when playing against lovely opponents. (Cheesing Sora in code A anyone?)
Well if you take a look at Proleague one might say that what RorO is for anti team,sOs is for main team. WCS champion who is 1-4 in PL. Is sOs becoming new RorO? Is he one time hit?

1-5 now, the worst record by far out of everyone who was there. Then again, only 5 players (Mvp, Soulkey, sOs, Maru, HerO (thanks Darkhoarse)) even play in Proleague

Mainstay of the GSL for a long time, and still managed to play some absolutely brutal games. Going 6 pool vs MKP's ground CC first and still managing to lose, his code A series against Vampire... Really, his entire appearance in 2012 GSL season 3. Nothing he did ever seemed to make sense and yet he was around in the GSL for so long....
doesn't sOs need to get a anti-fanclub, by winning blizzcon with a lot of cannon rushes and cheeses and killing the perfect storyline for the most beloved player Jaedong?
I feel like the OP made this so it can turn into a "I hate roro" thread. Roro beat Bisu in an epic game in PL and also cheesed him out of an OSL after two consecutive all in eliminations in the previous OSLs by his teammate Shine. And even then, I still like Roro. He's been a consistently middle ground player with glimpses of really great play. Here are some people we should all really dislike:

I don't know about Roro, but Naniwa definitely deserves an anti-fan page. Compared to all the controversies surrounding destiny orb and idra, Naniwa actually beats them all handily. But even if fun I think its a bit sad to participate in a large thread devoted partially to being his anti-fan. So I'll probably just leave him alone and take potshots in twitch chat

RorO being that good that makes him even more enjoyable to hate
Like I said, RorO is already acknowledged to have a lot of anti-fans, along with Sniper. So, my picks aren't off-base.
For those who wanted an anti-fan, remember to elaborate your case with details. The goal is to make a narrative that depicts that particular player as a villain. NaNiwa is an exception, because his notoriety is pretty much mainstream by now.

Without MarineKing or Maru, Prime is now considered to be the scrubs, compared to Startale. But then again, Life has been doing poorly against Protosses lately, so Creator might have the edge against him. In terms of overall lineup, I would say that Startale still has a good chance of beating them.
Well, that is just some rubbish, rubbish picks! And then coming in a dismissive, and in my opinion humiliating, fashion claiming that that kind of knowledge about these players will come with age, I find it very disrespectful and couldn't contain myself. And if it is some kind of joke or something maybe he could make it alittle more evident, so that less elevated creatures like myself could understand it. Sorry if sparking any controversy, as this of course was not the point of the thread

I like Seed, but there are plenty of reasons. He cheesed MC out during the GSL finals to the point that MC complained about it (I mean, just think of that, MC complaining about being cheesed out!). After his GSL victory, he was knocked down to Code A, then Code B where he is stuck as the forgotten champion. He consistently gets back into WCS KR/GSL, but then gets knocked out first round again. He had a reputation of being a smart and crafty player (kind of like SOS), but then he became an aggressive cheeser instead and stopped showing the clever tactics he was known for.

What's funny about those reasons is that MC cheesed White-Ra on the Dreamhack Invitation to win the championship. When fans were angry, MC defended himself. Guess it's not fun when you are on the other side of the barrel. Also, MC can be looked down for his overly aggressive tactics (don't get me wrong. I love MC!). Also, Seed did get lazy with his 3 base all-ins during the end of WoL. Haven't you seen his recent Code A series? He had very funny builds, albeit it was riddled with gateway aggression, and blinked his heart out and was able to survive against the defensive Swarm Hosts. Seed, unlike sOs, usually doesn't use proxies as the backbone of his strategies (his series against MC is an exception ofc).

I dislike sOs, but not because he cheesed Jaedong out of a Blizzcon championship. I just hate his play in general, i hate the fact that hes a one hit wonder, I hate the fact that people keep dickriding him every time he plays, i hate the fact that hes 1-5 in Proleague and people still think hes the best protoss to ever live, I hate that hes unable to win anything without cheesing or blink all-in-ing.
I dislike Jaedong because he prevented a wonderful WCS Season 2 finals match between Scarlett and Polt by 6-pooling in game 5 and then getting smashed by Polt 4-0 in a boring final. That pretty much it i guess.
Dont forget that Parting started that group of death which resulted in elimination of two favored players at the start of the tournament. And yes going to Kespa is like Ronaldo going from Real Madrid to Barcelona. Oh and hes so hyped player, yet he never won GSL or Dreamhack or MLG or IEM.Actually if you look at hes achievements he never won anything meaningful except WCS in old format, which is not so strong as new one,yet he always act like a boss.
PS I also dislike JD for similar reasons as Parting.

I disagree with him being a one hit wonder; he was in two big finals in 2013, and did well in proleague. Unless you think that only doing good during one year makes you a one hit wonder. And I guess that could actually be applied to other sports, but hey, this is Starcraft

I dislike Jaedong because he prevented a wonderful WCS Season 2 finals match between Scarlett and Polt by 6-pooling in game 5 and then getting smashed by Polt 4-0 in a boring final. That pretty much it i guess.
I disagree with him being a one hit wonder; he was in two big finals in 2013, and did well in proleague. Unless you think that only doing good during one year makes you a one hit wonder. And I guess that could actually be applied to other sports, but hey, this is Starcraft
I'm not a fan of sOs either especially with the way he beat Jaedong with mind games. Also, that defeat against Samsung was just awful because he took the spotlight from Maru
Nonetheless, sOs is not a one hit wonder but SUPER inconsistent. On a good day, he's pretty dangerous and has innovated the use of void rays. On an average day, he's pretty much beatable.

Parting is definitely considered to be the bad boy (rascaltoss to be specific). But you shouldn't really underestimate his achievements (with a 60-70% PvP record).

Maybe i'm exaggerating the one hit wonder bit, but his showing wasn't nearly as impressive as the other finalists, and just because he won blizzcon on the back of allin-ing half his opponents and proxying the other half, people claim him to be the best protoss ever. I just don't see it.

sOs only received 32% of the vote, considering that this was right after his BlizzCon victory. I'm pretty sure that the percentage decreased by a lot after his Proleague failures and his Redbull run, where Parting showed who's the true WCS champ.

I didn't say everyone, I said some people. Here a quote from destiny during Redbull battlegrounds.
Steven Bonnell II @Steven_Bonnell Nov 24 The most impressive thing about these games is that sOs can even manage to concentrate while the casters are sucking him off so hard.
That was posted while he was down 0-2 against Scarlet and losing the third game. (He came back eventually)
I understand that many people also believe Dear or Rain to be the best, and i can see why they are deserving of the title, but quite a few people will still claim sOs to be the best, and they are very vocal about it.
BitByBit definately deserves to be here, if only because he was the most shameless cheezer SC2 has ever seen. He remains notorious, he will always be remembered, he deserves this title, and only this title.

The people who usually quote him are his fans or those on reddit. TL is at best coolly receptive towards him, but he sealed his fate with his "SaveHOTS" campaign and migrated to LoL that brought him scarring infamy among the TL community. Destiny can say words of gold such as talking about how SC2 is not casual friendly enough. However, his behavior is heavily looked down upon a lot of people. Also, I don't really care about his popularity. Those who don't take his words with a grain of salt have their own problems. Hell, even a Destiny fan club was once closed because of the notoriety surrounding Destiny and his fans.

It's ironic. While Naniwa doesn't really care about the fans, and only wants to win and get better, the drama that he generates ends up entertaining people and keeping them interested more than even many of the "entertainers" in the scene.

Then in 2011 he lasted in Code S for several seasons, and even after he dropped down to Code A he stayed there for quite a while before falling out. The first GSL champion to be knocked down to Code B was actually MC, not FruitDealer...
My nomination is Stephano. Yeah he was the best foreigner ever but his personality was just so obnoxious. I could never manage to root for him against anyone. I don't like NaNiwa either, but at least he cares about winning. Stephano just always looked bored and indifferent. All the fanboys were totally wasted on him.
Edit: Also IdrA. Probably the only SC2 player in history I found more obnoxious than Stephano. At least Stephano was polite in-game. It always mystified me whenever Tastosis would talk about IdrA's BM and then say "But he's a great guy in real life" and look at each other and smile happily like that makes everything he does in-game okay (I do know that they're close friends and in their eyes he could do no wrong). I mean come on, I used to ragequit games when I was behind too, but (a) I wasn't playing for money or on TV, and (b) I was fourteen years old.
Oh if only Bisu hadn't retired... I really dislike that his streaming on afreeca for money after he claimed to "take a rest and join the military". Seeing how Stork and Flash is working hard in the SC2 scene even without a good outcome make this feeling stronger.

Yeah, some people are taking this thread a bit too seriously atm... Like I said, just avoid the conflict and focus on enjoying yourself.
I mean just look at my RorO write-up. It's pretty amateurish, but it's that way for a very good reason! Sure, it has the content to dislike him, but in context, it should be hilarious to those who don't share my views.
Yup. I'm just getting people riled up lol. I'm a huge fan of Curious. If anyone, the only player I can't take seriously anymore is Bomber for getting rolled over by Idra in MLG Orlando being as I was the only one cheering for Korean players in the crowd he let me down too much to forgive him.
I hate you
I used to love Bomber until that day . I was forced to become an MMA fan after that. The choice to switch terrans was obvious. Also, thanks for the LRSL streaming <3
OT:Flash antifans are pretty strong.
But everyone is a bisu anti-fan.
notice how bisu is not even mentioned here. He's became that irrelevant in the SCII scene

Royal road pretty historic!
Zerg player winning a tournament during the queen patch era, everyday occurrence.
and? he played a totally different style of zerg and less some about BL/infestors like other zergs. He just played better than mvp is all.
Yeah, even I don't mention Bisu in this thread. Rookie posting move. Let's stay on the right game guys.

I think so. He said that Bisu is irrelevant in SC2 and talking about him is a rookie move. But, the worst crime of all he was fine with RorO beating Bisu in Brood War times! I mean wtf?! What kind of demented Bisu fan is that? He's called "BisuDagger" because he's the knife that is hanging on top of Bisu and his fans' hearts and backs! Now, I see why Bisu retired! Always blame it on the # 1 fan/traitor!

1. I am not and never will claim to be Bisu's number 1 fan. Being a Bisu fan in itself is satisfactory enough. Only in SC2 did people start declaring themselves #1 fans of a player. I'm satisfied at being among the vast sea of fans Bisu does have. 2. I'll always value a perfect game of Brood War above a single proleague win. After all, SCBW is what a truely love. 3. I do my best not to make every thread irrelevant with Bisu content in the sc2 world since he plays sc1 now. 4. Bisu is not retired. He just doesnt play your game.
I hope you can learn to be as passionate about the players and the game of sc2 as much as I am of sc1. I have plenty more to say and you can PM me if you feel like bringing YOUR own thread more off topic.
