He would've had to play his Challenger Match right after his Ro16 Premier Group and not just the next day, no the same night. TaeJa forfeited because he was too tired.

And that's fine because professional athletes forfeit because they are tired all the time.

Nazgul came out and said that he had a redic schedule and was worsening his wrist problems if I remember right. So with no guarantee on the upcoming format of WCS why play the match and risk injury?

If they had a choice between multiple, they probably picked Taeja because he's the most popular and most historically decorated.

Pro sports teams frequently bench their best players during exhibition matches or matches that aren't very important to avoid injury. A lot of players turn down things like all-star games etc. to avoid being unfit to play their important games.

maybe he was feeling bad?

Man, I was really hoping for TaeJa, HerO, JD to go back to Korea and compete in the GSL code S , it would have been nice to see them competing in the best league :D

He forfeited a match he had already agreed to play. A team can bench a player because they are still playing the game. A player forfeiting in SC2 is similar to benching your entire team. If a professional team just decided to not play a match because they were too tired, they would probably be fined a very large amount of money.

How are people up in arms about this? Taeja was the player, participating in WCS AM last year that gained the most points.

Also no offense or anything but sometimes you get forgiven for certain things based on your reputation and skill.

Pretty sure some math people determined that Revival got more points. Honestly though, is Revival going to play in WCS AM if he doesn't end up on a team? Who will pay for him to go to America if he plays in the live portion?

Unless Revival and/or Bomber declined the premier spot, this is kinda sketchy (assuming you've done the math correctly!). Would love an explanation from NASL!

In WCS AM itself yes, Taeja got more overall, most of all WCS AM players.
Edit: That is not already in Premier, of course.

More than Bomber?
Bomber has 4425 in total, Taeja 4250. This is according to Liquipedia.
