How can they unstream games when they have no other sc2 content? well every evening we have korean content - sun, mon, tues - 2x PL matches per day wed, thurs, fri - code A sat - day off that's already quite a lot of sc2 content i guess they could do 13:00 KST matches but those have never had good turnout/viewership since a lot of foreign GSL viewership is EU and those times suck. plus getting studio set up and stuff is probably not worth it (time/money). so it makes sense even if it is quite sucky. and that poll is stupid, it's just more negativity feeding off negativity, no need to spread the poor sentiment.

I think it just shows that people are unhappy to pay for less content on a worse streaming service with less seasons a year for the same price. It's much more of a poor deal than it used to be.

But couldn't they just use more weeks instead of increasing the # of games per week? with only 3 seasons and no season finals as forced sync points between the regions, they should have that liberty I guess? Either way, you're right of course, negativity doesn't lead to anything, and we don't want oversaturation.

There's a lot less content than last year as we had the WoL GSL before WCS Started and as you rightly said, the season finals too. There's plenty of time to fit a few more groups in there. EDIT: Just seen that Keen vs Symbol isn't streamed ![]()

I mean, the Code A games don't have to be during prime time in the evening...

Even if khaldor does it for free for the 5k foreigners viewing it ( there might be laws against something like that ) there still are tournament admins that have to come in for extra 6 days.

There is plenty of room for compromise if they were interested.

They're not willing to spend money so I'm not willing to spend money, if that's how it has to be then fine. They had no problems streaming every match in 2011 when there were 9 GSL's in a year. I refuse to believe they cannot make it work somehow, even a replay cast would be good enough.

They EASILY have the resources and time to do so. For the first time, I will not be buying a ticket. Combined with moving to Twitch for VOD's, this is looking like a sad era for GOM.

Even a non-casted stream would be enough, or a restream from a replay - but just not showing some matches at all... I don't know >_>

The current schedule shows GSL ends for the year on Oct 4th. That's three wasted months.

Who cares what their "reasons" are? They are objectively wrong and there's no real excuse for it.
