Because you can't trade them. Should they do poorly you're stuck with them. If they were not your captain and they do poorly their value would go down allowing for a better return on a trade. If they instead did well, great, but then you didn't really need them to be your captain then because you're not going to trade a good player anyway. With a low value player if they do poorly, oh well, you expected it and you're not out as much. It's simply hedging your bets. While I'm more likely to be stuck with a 2 point player who ends up doing nothing, I'll take that over an 8 point player who goes full foreigner that I can't get rid of. | ||

It doesn't hurt that I rather like their players and their team name is an easy one to make a pun about. My anti assumes that MVP and Samsung wont be winning much and that roro will lose things because, as a great man once said, fuck roro. | ||
