It's nothing to do with the 'free units' that annoy me about the SH. They are part of it mind.
It's that it's so clearly they looked at the Lurker, didn't just include the Lurker (with some tweaks for SC2) and made something like the lurker, intended to fulfil similar roles that just doesn't.
1 or 2 swarm hosts should be able to be burrowed in expos, on ramps and act as deterrents for things like Zealot runbys, but they don't do anything at all in such small numbers. What do you get when a unit is slow, has high DPS potential, high range and is only good when it hits a critical mass, and needs babysat? A unit that far from encouraging space control in strategic locations, with small numbers of SH in defensive positions, is FAR better used with the turtle/static D combination.
That they spawn units isn't a big deal vP, but is a bit of a pain for Terran as they set off mines and tank siege tank splash etc, but that's not inherently bad I guess.

I think you have good points overall but Blizzard said from the get go that sh are designed to push your advantage in closing out games. They aren't designed for space control at all.

Hmmm that choice of incontrol, I dont get it when you have Demu/Suppy/Xeno. Even if its showmatch playing vs CJ is a good practice. And incontrol isnt rly a progamer anymore :x.

Of course I exagerate :/, just saying theres other player that needs to level up instead of incontrol. This guy just out of progaming and more a caster now (a good one). And demu/suppy/Xeno could have a good practice in a cool showmatch with not much pressure.

As a player and caster, InControl is great! But, I just don't know why he was playing when there are other foreign EG players who could played. Well, I guess this was a good chance to play professionally, which he really wants to (if you check his MLG 2011 interview)
