I'll will watch as much of BlizzCon as I can over here - even if Naniwa was knocked out today I'd still go watch it. The issue for me and most of Europe will be the timezone difference anyway. Anaheim is +9 for me so I'll see what I am *able* to watch.

Well, that didn't take long to watch.

I like to imagine Idra watching those games, seething with the fury of a thousand burning suns...

Soulkey will be a lot tougher, though.

Can someone tell me the mouse Kaelaris is using? It looks like a Razer Mamba/Death Adder, but it's got a shiny finish and a pinkie-rest? Looks sick.

Yeah, replace Naniwa with Sora.

lol
Naniwa: consistently top10 Protoss in the world since 2011 (and breaking into the top3 during his best times)
Sora: got a decent place (?) in some tournament once

He hasn't been consistently a top 10 Protoss. and maybe Sora is new but there are certainly some Protosses in Korea that are better . Take Parting, Rain, or Trap for example. However, Nani certainly earned his spot at Blizzcon so I'm not arguing that.

Even though I wanted Naniwa to advance, I was hoping for some epic matches between the two. Then, I saw the VOD's and holy shit, Revival just played awful! He is considered to be an average Korean zerg, but wow the mistakes he made on games 2 and 3 reminded me of the pre-patch WoL days when zergs drone too hard or have their units hopelessly trapped in FF. Naniwa definitely deserved that BlizzCon spot!

Wow, Naniwa took a dump on Revival. Won´t be that easy against Soulkey, though.

Naniwa played a kinda "cheesy" playstyle. or rather a 2-based centric style.
Isnt Soulkey known for being un-cheesable?

Consistently? Like in WCS EU Ro16, where he got what, stomped by Vortix and BBK?

So? For all we know from that information there were only 2 Protoss in the Ro16 (Naniwa and BBK) and WCS EU was the only and highest level tournament. Which would make Naniwa second best Protoss in the world.

So unless you make a real argument that puts everything into perspective and explain why he was not consistently amongst the top10 (again, consistently =/= always; it means that most of the time you are there and that if you picked a random moment in time to measure who was top10, then the chances of finding Naniwa amongst those 10players are very high), please don't bother to post again.

It thrills me that a foreigner is in. I was so happy when Bomber overcame his curse and won S2 - I was live on stage at Gamescom. Then - Bomber didn't show a single sign of joy, and all my thrill instantly was killed.

Edit: though I have to admit I'm cheering for HerO and Taeja.
