According to Daily Esports, Bomber will forfeit his WCS Challenger matches for health reasons. He cited a combination of stress and fatigue forcing him to take a break for the time being, and apologized to his fans who had been looking forward to seeing him play.
Effort is the beneficiary of Bomber's forfeiture, earning a walkover directly into the final round of Code A/Challenger. Bomber is still a 100% lock to compete at the WCS world finals at Blizzcon with his considerable number of WCS points.
It's unintelligent to post false assumptions trying to read a language you know nothing about on a forum that almost every foreign fan goes to. Even Google Translate has a better idea of what the page is saying than you do.
In short, EffOrt receives a walkover in the second round of Code A because the StarTale coach is having Bomber forfeit the match due to the large amounts of stress and fatigue Bomber is dealing with. Apologies to the fans, etc.

Blizzcon isn't even mentioned on the page.
I think he was only trying to contribute to the forum. Good intentions but unfortunately a bit misleading due to translation errors(I presume).
Either way, no way Bomber would give up Blizzcon lol. Effort may be happy about avoiding playing him though

He might have a wrist issue that he needs to address. Or some other health problem. Or his family is sick. People take time off for all sorts of reasons.

Why does everything always have to be a conspiracy?

this is the internet, other humans aren't real so how could they have health problems?!
Seems he had to sacrifice his wrists to destroy Bomber's Law. Kinda badass in a way. Scarlett was fine after a break so I'm sure Bomber will do well at Blizzcon.
Honestly I think this is a very smart move by Bomber. He is almost guaranteed a spot to blizzcon with how the standings are at the moment and if this allows him to rest a couple extra weeks in between then it can only help.
So if what some of the players from wcs america and eu said is true then this Challenger league will not feed into the next code s. If its true then bomber can take a nice break and train for blizzcon which seems much more important. Good deicion in my opinion if this challenger league doesn't matter much.

He was already in the 2nd round of Code A so he shouldn't have to requalify. If there are no changes to WCS KR like there were for the EU challenger league he would be in the Up and Down Matches
I think this pretty much confirms that they're overhauling the system next season and people won't be able to qualify for the next Code S from this Code A. If Code S were on the line, he would have played no matter what.
Blizzard really screwed GSL with this whole WCS thing.

He just forfeits his Code A bracket, due to fatigue and stress, according to StarTale's coach. He may as well just play in U&D match and qualify for Code S anyways.

Why does it not say "last edit: ..." in the OP? I was very confused at first when I saw all the people on the first page attacking the OP for something it doesn't even say and it seemed to be unedited. Maybe you should fix the forums, so that it always says edited when it is to avoid such confusion.

idk that's not the edit I put in. I guess the OP got taken over by an admin because it has changed again since I edited it.
Isn't this because challenger league means nothing other than some sort of seeding stuff for the next season? I personally believe that the top 16 guys in WCS points WILL get in PL next season, no matter what. Anything else would be stupid in my opinion.

nah I highly doubt Bomber will switch regions
How do you know this? Do you know Bomber in person?
He's too good, he simply just doesn't need to switch..
Well maybe they keep GSL in Korea solid, unlike in the other regions where they consider making qualifiers again for premier league. That would give every Korean pro in Code A/B that could afford it a chance to switch region and get into premier. I really hope I understood that wrong or they come to their senses and won't do this. Because it will hurt gsl again in any scenario I can imagine. Well unless they do a region lock which will hurt every region.
Just hope his health issues aren't to bad and he can recover quickly.

Why do you assume he fakes health problems?
It's smart if health problems too - he needs to be well-rested and in good health for Blizzcon.

I think you are the one assuming that!! I didn't said that he faked it. My point is if he is not feeling well, why force yourself to something that did not matter much. Rest is also part of preparing, if you don't know that!!

Where did he say that?
All I've seen him say is that he thought protoss was OP during WoL and he was considering switching if terran didn't get buffed. I've seen him say HotS is more balanced.
I'd like to see what he could do with protoss since it fits his macro heavy style better than terran.

in the interview with CJ Frost's LoL player about rulers and such lol. He said in there approximately that protoss fits his style since SCII flipped the race identities from BW. I think he said he would've switched had he knew but I doubt he'll do it since fans would want him to play terran.

I think it's pretty dumb that he's playing a race that he knows is a nerf for him. Also, he would probably have more fans if he switched races and got better results. I'd say his fan base is slipping away pretty quickly as he continues to get knocked out at the Ro32. Maybe he'll switch to protoss when the next expansion comes out.
I sense a lot of frustration in that interview, and that was 2 months ago before getting knocked out of WCS season 3.

I fail to see where he "continues to get knocked out at the Ro32. If you look at WCS, he made ro16 in all three seasons, not getting eliminated in the ro32 once.
Also, examine his groups. Season 1 was the group of death, facing Innovation (on fire) and Life and Parting in top form. Season 2 his group was all TvT pre-hellbat nerf against Innovation again as well as Bomber. This season, he fell out in close 1-2 losses to Parting and Maru.
So although he hasn't has wild success, saying his fan base is slipping because of poor performance in WCS and that he falls out in the ro32, you're blatantly incorrect.
