I'm really curious how things will look when the dust settles. Hopefully a big proleague, and a strong GSL. Are these things connected to the changes is esports policy by the government and kespa?

Feel sorry for GOM and Mr.Chae.

They did so much for early sc2 scene only to get shafted in the end.

They also hurt the teams by not releasing stream numbers and they have obviously failed to aquire sponsors for the teams.

I wonder how GOM would have turned out if they had decided to go ahead with their P2V plans.

I agree with Waxangel. Obviously they didn't just leave on a whim, they have some idea about where they want to go and what they want to do. Who are we to demand that they tell us everything before there is even anything official or rumored yet. When they are ready they will release their plans, though in classic fashion I'm sure that we will have a 'rumor' before hand anyways. As long as they aren't disbanding they can keep their silence until signing day of whatever they are planning in my book.

Given how management issues have been handled in the past, I wouldn't put it beneath them, honestly.

Take IM. Their reaction to LG not confirming a renewal was basically "we'll just pretend to be still sponsored and then try to force them to sponsor us again".

It feels a bit strange seeing IM in economical trouble. For so long I, and many with me I would assume, regarded IM as the "richest" team amongst esf and a team that was very healthy in terms of sponors etc. I guess as someone with little insight into how things work in e-sport teams its easy to read to much in to "sponsored by ___". I hope everything works out for them.

As for these interviews, im non the wiser ^^

I guess they'll be joining KeSPA and Proleague. They just cannot make it official yet.

And today on how to say nothing with plenty of words. Might as well not interview them at all ( no offense to the interviewer, but what answers did you expect to get?).

I don't know if "speaking out" is the right term for somebody opening their mouth but no content coming out of it.

Park: As it is well known, eSF teams cannot give salaries to players and are in difficult situations financially, unlike the KeSPA teams. Our team, too, was difficultly run up to this point, and sponsorships are the most urgent issue. If KeSPA can help us in this regard, then we could think positively about joining KeSPA.

This is the only reasonably informative answer. :-S
RIP in peace eSF.

Not participating in the GSTL is really a dumb move, especially when you are the top 2 finishers last season.

It would have been possible to play in the GSTL without being a part of the eSF like in the case of Axiom-Acer. Why have you decided not to participate?

Park: As I mentioned before, it's a time where we need a change, and we decided it would be difficult to participate in the GSTL right now. Revamping the team is the first priority, and we decided it would be the right decision to participate in leagues after we find stability.

Choi: As mentioned before, it's so we can have a time for change. There is no other reason.

I can't get over how ridiculously stupid this sounds

" So you left eSF and the GSTL, can you tell us why? "

" We thought it was time for a change, a change to not playing the game and not making any money. We're also totally not joining Kespa. "

You're right my friend, but that's what the Corporate culture is about..

For example - I now have to give some answers similar to that one myself while going for the next job interview..

Sounds like they got money from Kespa to boycutt eSF or something.
