It's still a bit scary to see that our game seems to have stop growing. Not saying it's regressing, it's just not really getting bigger.

I could see an event with Dota 2, CoD and a bunch of fighting games. That would be pretty sweet and a change of pace.

just look at the viewer count a single LoL pro's stream gets more views than WCS America premiere league early stages So WHY invest in sc2? MLG good job, nobody can blame you guys for making a sensical decision

This makes me laugh. And ya, I doubt they're going away from sc2 completely... must be a reason/catch somewhere

Just because one tournament might not be doing SC2 doesn't mean that growth as a whole has stopped.

Considering viewers do have the option of following more than one game, I fail to see how the success of a particular game is bad for another one in the context of e-Sports. If anything it's not Dota or LoL killing Starcraft, it's Blizzard.

With no SC at MLG's it would really put a lot more pressure (if there wasn't enough already) on NA players to preform well at WCS - which really isn't looking to good Makes you wish people hadn't killed off all the small NA-cups. Well, sucks for american players but personally I don't care.

FML. :/ .. If it helps they will probably just announce it at a later date, I can't see any reason to drop it after the success of MLG Anaheim, and this just feels like Sundance is winding us up.

That doesn't mean that its impossible to make money on SC2.
