I'm not sure if that really means anything Making new uniforms takes time and money.
Taking off patches takes like 5 minutes a patch if you do it carefully, especially if they were sewn on and not ironed or something.

I wouldn't read much into it. For example, on of their LoL teams played a match just a few minutes ago and they had switched their tags back to LG-IM today, despite having IM as their tag just a couple of days ago. I have no idea what's going on.
Wow, shame on you LG. If you did not want to renew your sponsorship of IM, you should've made that clear from the off. Now, you've benefited from their work, and they've received absolutely nothing. I won't be touching any LG products any time soon, that's for sure, at least until they pay what IM is due.
I hope some other better tech company picks up IM, they are consistently placing so high in various tournaments. I am sure they provide one of the best ROI out of most teams. Something like google would be seriously awesome. IM only team to have a player in season semi finals now.

It is better to make a shit storm on their social media sites than regret to buy their products ( if they are not bad).

They have nearly as many sponsors as EG, LG just were giving them the most money. They wont disband for something like this.

Aside from LG they are sponsored by: Coca-Cola, Nvidia, Kingston HyperX, Steelseries just to name a few. I'm sure they'll figure out something.

As others have said, they have a lot of other good sponsors. They won't disband.
From what I've gathered in interviews and Khaldor's video from the IM house, most of the players don't earn a salary.

No salary? must get alot from dem sponsors
The funds are going towards paying the transports for players, the house etc. But also paying off the debt they incurred during the first years of sc2. Hirai personally payed for stuff and is still in debt, afaik.
