SC2Ranks v2 has just been pushed live and is a ground up rewrite of SC2Ranks both in UI and backend. It's been due for a rewrite for a while, when I originally wrote SC2Ranks right after SC2 came out, I did it in about 3 days and hacked it all together. With all the changes from HoTS being released, rapid season changes, clans, Grandmaster and more, it was showing its age.
Thank you to the community who has offered awesome suggestions and support over the last 3 years. V2 will make it easier to maintain SC2Ranks and also let me offer more features without constantly having to deal with performance issues.

Features
- Team rankings,1v1 AM HoTS Terrans in Master
- Division rankings, 1v1 Global HoTS
- Clan rankings, 1v1 by Top Score, Sum Score, Avg Score
- Clan pages, Evil Geniuses

- Progress graphs to view changes over time, DeMusliMRC
- Public replays of the character, games played by DeMusliMRC

And here are the changes from V1 -> V2
Changes
- Instant ranking updates, no more hour++ delays. If you go up 10 points, your world and region ranks update at the same time.
- Team updates are much faster, originally it would take a day+ to refresh the entire database, now it can be done in a few hours. You can find more info on update speed on the F.A.Q page
- Expansions and seasons are handled a lot better and there will no longer be mixups with teams being misidentified to an expansion or slow resets when a season flips over
- Filters are now consistent across the entire site and much easier to use
- Faster graph updates, your team graph will update as you play games no matter what league. No more 24 hour snapshots of a team, or hourly snapshots for Grandmasters
- Clans are now fully supported including clan pages and rankings
- Barcode names are no longer shown, instead a region unique name is derived by the battle.net ID to allow for easier identification of a barcode name.
- All achievement related features are now gone, they were barely used (<1% of visits) and wasted resources that could be spent on updating teams faster
- New(ish) logo that looks more awesome
- Custom divisions now require a "real" account, you can sign up using your Google or Facebook account
- Custom divisions MUST be claimed by September 1st or they will be pruned. Claiming is easy, create an account, go to the claim page, enter the URL, email and password and you're done

Thank you so much for the hard work, I relied on SC2Ranks' graphs to figure out my world ranks and likelihood of getting into the next league for a long time and I was missing it while you worked on this version. Two thumbs up.

Thanks! I have new graph functionality coming eventually which should make the team graphs even better.

If we can ever identify any of these barcodes, can we start calling the player by their region unique name?

I skipped any custom divisions (something like <5% of them) that had no emails attached as it would have been impossible for them to claim. 3488 was one of those. I see someone made a "Gamefaqs SC2 Ladder" one today though. I've linked 3488 to that.

Sure. You can call the #1 player "chh adh h", the name is region unique and won't change so as long as they don't buy another copy of the game, you will always see "chh adh h" no matter what season it is.
