It was originally Captain Foley (generic name of your squad's captain in the single player mode) until I was in a server joking around with some friends who compared me to darth vader. I decided that Captain Foley was too generic and decided to change it to darthfoley. It stuck. I've been darthfoley for 7 years now lol | ||

Ever since I did that as a 13 year old, I am constantly asked if I am xyz player from abc clan or whatever, or when I was playing sc2 at a fairly high level (gm-) 'are you scyx17 from bw?' like every single game. :D | ||

also the name was pretty much available to use everywhere, because the game is german origin. But either it got popular over the years despite the game being rather old, or some maniac that has to play every game on the planet is using it. | ||
