I would really like to see IdrA & Artosis as a caster duo. 
Im not so sure about Doa & Montechristo. It could be a reason that less people tune in due their reputation.

I really don't understand why Tastosis aren't there. Some clarification would be nice
I don't want to speculate on things here but maybe blizzard/WCS are trying to spread the casting around a bit.
None of the NA casters are going, none of the GSL casters are there, only apollo from the EU casting.
Perhaps OGN felt a bit left out of things and wanted to get some exposure for their casting team.
Day9 is massively popular and will do a great job as always so I think that is a great decision from Blizzard, maybe they asked him to pick a co commentator and he went with apollo

Hmm I don't really think it's right to speculate about money without any kind of statement as it can cause a pretty negative reaction.

There's no reason not to have GOM casters unless it's some kind of political move. Which totally sucks.
I mean Doa/Montechristo are decent but they can never tell me something about the game that I don't know myself. Apollo + Day9 are obviously great but Tastosis should be a given at what's supposed to be the Grand Slam of SC2. The thing is that this is Blizzard's event. They shouldn't even let OGN choose who casts their finals ffs.

It's very simple.
-The entire broadcast will be handled by OGN
-OGN already have 2 casters(DoA,MonteCristo).
-They need 2 more.
-They don't want to use any of the GOM casters.
-They brought the 2 best casters they could(Apollo,Day 9).
I don't see why this is weird or surprising.

I just hope the places will be packed, since attendance in Korea was never that great for SC2.
I'll gladly tune in to Doa for the commentary, I don't understand why people are so upset. Tastosis are good, but people tend to overrate them.

Artosis has more insight than both of Doa/Montechristo combined. Don't get me wrong, I like their casting as well but they have absolutely nothing on Tastosis.

I think Apollo is on the same analysis level as Artosis lately, he is always making extra accurate calls and explains everything quite clearly. But he ( and the WCS crew) still felt "behind" as far as dealing with downtimes and some void/awkwards moments. WCS EU was full of awkward casting moments ( dunno about AM i didn't see) compared to GSL cast. But that should be gone after the next season i suppose
Anyway i find it weird that the season finals, which are so important, are made with a format that let so few time to prepare from the Ro8 to the finals...

I mean at least Apollo... I guess. DoA is pure mediocrity in my opinion and listening to him (for me personally) doesn't add anything at all. Dunno about MonteC as I rarely turned into the OGN cast.
Day9's casting, especially when paired with a co-caster, just seems so bad now for some reason. I don't think he goes well with anyone anymore and couldn't even bare listening to him on Shoutcraft recently. That's not to say I dislike him, he's one of the greatest members of the Sc2 community and i have much respect. It's just his casting is no longer for me.
If I had to choose 4 casters for this my dream team would be Artosis, Apollo, Wolf and Khaldor.

I don't want to say this, but it does seem silly for GOM to have handled WCS Season 1 in Korea, and then have the WCS Season 1 finals in Korea without GOM. Is Gom going to host the WCS Season 2 finals that OGN runs then? If not, then something could be up. Obviously we won't know that for a few months either way, but still.
Edit: I saw Doa's post. Good to hear, although I still don't understand why GOM didn't handle Season 1, and OGN handles season 2 finals. Ah well.
The OGN stream seems to often look better than Gom's iirc on some occasions, there's just no advertising for it

damn, day 9 is terrible. Why don't khaldor and wolf get the spot they deserve, besides why flew people in when you have far better casters already there..

Besides all the political shenanigans going on, its pretty clear once again, that the GOM broadcast will crush the OGN broadcast in terms of viewers.
Whats the point? Fragment your viewership across multiple streams, the so called "main" producer of the event will end up having thousands of less viewers, all because of some petty disagreements between organizations.
