maaannnn, people need better figure heads... determination, hard work, innovation, mannerism, respect: boxer (or so i think) i reaaaally dont understand how people can love idra but not boxer (though he had no presence in sc2 like he did in bw) T.T (maybe just difference in culture lol)

Every single player they have is highly marketable. More than entire teams. When it comes to sponsors they probably wont be hurting that much and after Idra's comments basically calling his fans and the guys who pay him idiots this move was the right choice regardings sponsors as well.

Another hilarious statement. I make infinitely more than idrA, he doesn't have a salary anymore. I called him a burger flipper because he has no education and no job experience what so ever... with a very poor attitude....... disliked amongst his team by some of the players... etc. He's a joke and it's about time he got booted out the door. coudnt agree more ! respect to you!

IdrA, regardless of his results in BW and the first year of SC2, has been coasting on that reputation for a long time, while being probably the biggest case of the profit > results mentality that plagues Western eSports. As long as people like him, Destiny et al continue to be valued for their stream viewer numbers and their "personalities" over bringing up promising talent, NA and EU will continue to lag behind KR in terms of development. People like IdrA need to be cut out of eSports. Glad to see the back of him. I was going to write something but you summed up the gist of what I was going to say. I respected Alex's decision during the racist/bigoted language issue a while back and I don't see this as being any different. I don't know how much money IdrA made for EG itself but obviously Alex is putting his personal and business values at a higher priority which there is nothing deplorable about. RIP in piece Greg
