Kind of expected it tbh. There was just such a big backlash on how he behaved in those series esp. after his post on TL. Still such a big response from EG, but I think it's the right one. Idra got a lot of chances to turn around, but at the same time, the community is also to blame since "we" fuel his QQ fire with these stream numbers and such.

I think on the whole, this was the right move by EG. I have been at times a fan of Idra and at other times incredibly frustrated with him. I haven't watched his stream for the last few years mostly because I've been frustrated by this attitude of disrespect he has towards this game - his livelihood - and the community. EG was looking increasingly like a home to people who didn't give a shit about being manner or just generally nice and a bunch of random koreans. Respect to EG and I hope this gives Idra an opportunity to figure out personal issues in private, instead of under the public microscope that he's been scrutinized under for a while now.

Don't understand why representing a brand (EG) poorly for years with terrible manners and caustic speech to his fellow competitors doesn't warrant a firing, but a vehement "fans suck" statement is what does it.

The fans can take care of themselves. Garfield is supposed to be taking care of his brand. EG has been way down at the bottom of my list of teams to support because of these policies since I started watching SC in 2010 for these reasons. Even if I like some of the recent signings and other players, letting Idra run wild was always a primary reason why.

I'm not sure this reasoning makes me feel any better :/ Idra finally generated more negative publicity than attention. I realize "it's a business" or whatever, but I care about sportsmanship.

Not that Iam a huge IdrA fan but Iam a little confused because:

When Stephano was disrespectfull the reaction of EG was to ban him from some tournaments and stuff (good reaction not TOO MUCH) but when IdrA is disrespectful to community (lots of people just like him because of that because hes not THE BEST player overall but his RAGE THING is quite entertaining for lots of people) you kick him out of the team ?

Not sure if community likes this !
