I can't spend points on STX anymore  (I used to pick them always).
This round, I decided to just pick my favorite players (instead of just picking mostly STX and SKT) and I don't have enough to pick them all and STX at the same time.
Though... Hmm. How hard can Innovation carry STX now that this is winner's league?
Honestly though, it'd be hard since each team has someone that can take down Innovation.

Yes, even though I am a fan of Innovation, I had to ditch him to (I guess funnily enough) get STX as my main team (and all my favorite players too).
I would have tried to squeeze Alive in too but RorO is just so expensive and I need to have him on my team.

Not completely happy with my main team. With HoTS still relatively new, anything can happen in terms of streaks and slumps which makes an all-kill format volatile. With PL still Protoss heavy, I decided to go with Rain as my captain. I like Parting's play recently and have always liked Puzzle so the remaining spots were built around the Protoss base. s2 is getting a start this week and while I am not confident he will rack up the wins, it does look like he will be used often. SKT is built for the all-kill format and I expect them to be first this round. I felt the need to have an EGTL representative and liked alive better than Taeja for points and for consistency. That left two points to work with and while I don't know a ton about Action, he does seem to be used often enough to be a solid 2-pointer.
Edit: Switched Argo in for Parting as I realized it's probably not a good idea to be too heavily invested in players from one team and while I would pick Parting over Argo any day, I see T8 leaning on Argo heavily and greater opportunity for points as Parting may not even get to play as often.

I really like this Anti team. Even if Mini does get played, I don't expect great results, and as others have mentioned, Hitman seems way overvalued at 4 points. I also think zergs have it a bit tougher right now and Crazy was the best anti option at 5 points. My anti team killed me last round so I tried to keep from taking any risks on big names slumping.

Argo: He can net the surprise all-kills for T8 so long as he doesn't turn into Failhoon.
Brown: Starts for SKT. SKT is likely to win quite a lot. Brown might actually get played as a 3 pointer.
Flying: 4 point WJS. WJS is a winner. Flying is good enough to get played (WJS core Soulkey, sOs, Flying, LighT, ZerO)
Hydra: 4 point, plays for CJ first game against Jangbi. CJ is certainly going to play Hydra a lot and Jangbi is beatable.
Innovation: 8 points. He's bogus. And it's all-kill.
Stork: 4 point, plays for Khan first game against Zest. While Zest is better overall, we can only hope...
Team 8: I had only 1 point left. I trust Argo's all-kill power more than CJ's herO or Effort.

I tried to pick cheap ace players. Taeja will play every EGTL match unless HerO cleans up, Jangbi will play every KHAN match, Parting will get a lot of wins and he is super cheap at 6 points... Cure is the 2nd most expensive T8 player, can you believe that? He'll get fielded everytime Jaehoon loses. Bbyong will also likely get lots of playtime being the only good terran on CJ. Lastely, I needed a 1 point zerg, so might as well pick one from the team I think will win a lot. SKT should do the best in AK format though. Their lineup is very strong and has many ace players. They suffer in regular format because their B-rank players are really B, but their A rank players are really fucking A.
Anti team was easy. Flash/Stats/Zest should clean up for KT and Crazy is definitely not worth 5 points. Free won't be played with sOs, and lol hitman.

Agghh, hard picking for all-kill format.
sOs, most obvious pick for me, shares ace spot with soulkey for woongjin, way undervalued at 6 points
Effort, playing well in HotS so far, barely falling to innovation which is an accomplishment within itself
Innovation, debated hard between innovation and roro and soulkey..one one hand innovation is a monster, but on the other hand, he has dropped a couple games in PL, roro and soulkey have been pretty much untouched....may still sacrifice my 2 3 pointers to upgrade effort and go for the star studded lineup
s2 & Brown, was hard picking between the 3 pointers, the ones that i thought were undervalued at first glance have been doing terrible in Hots, these 2 are starting so hopefully they can net me some points
Bear, hoping he will be played at some point but if not STX should at least net me some points
SKT1 - with rain and parting and fantasy i think SKT1 has pretty strong potential in an all-kill format..there is still WJS and STX to consider though, also Khan by virtue of roro alone...
anti - fuck this was hard to pick
free - counting on him not to be played with how many good players WJS has
Trap - was difficult choosing between a 6 pointer + 3 pointer or a 5 pointer + 4 pointer, in the end i went with trap because the 5 pointers have all been doing really well in hots :/
solar - seems least impressive out of the 3 pointers

All players are relevant to their team and will likely see play with no team taken twice to minimize risk of staying benched (which can happen anyways). The heavy hitters have huge all-kill potential and have been stable over several seasons. Cure and Bong both are good players of weak teams, so they will be fielded and could surprise. No points for team left means CJ over team 8, because of their better multi-kill potential (with Effort and herO). Snute because he´s a sexy beast.

Crazy seems quite expensive for a ZvZ player in this format. Hydra sucked major balls ever since HotS and free, well, there are many WJS players who should sweep everything before he comes out.

Alive seems to be improving really fast under coach park and has became a staple player for EGTL.
Hopefully Bisu will get to play, but I doubt it so he's there to collect SKT points and I like him.
Had cure since the 1st season and he is a really solid player for the cost.
Effort is if I'm not mistaken the last guy to beat Innovation, so hopefully he will preform well.
Flash will bounce back and murder some nerds, he looked good in this ro16 group in GSL, it was just to insane of a group to advance.
I fucking love flying, I see him doing great things in the future and he is my new favorite player since few months ago.
SKT has the depth to snipe anyone, hopefully they will pay off.
Won't comment on anti since it fucks me over each round and I just browsed this thread and tryed to figure out who are the most represented on yall's anti teams.
