They dislike each other, that's all. Mainly because of the Dokdo islands.

WWII (and the shrines), japanese occupation of korea, etc (my opinion though is that's the past, and I don't think the modern japanese kids I know are somehow responsible for say the actrocities that the japanese government did sometime in the past *_* but w/e, but there's quite a bit of hate between the asian races as a result of the history x-x)

The current Japanese and Korean society only remembers the things that happened during their lifetime, which is the Dokdo conflict. But I don't live in Japan nor Korea, so maybe I'm wrong.

There is a love-hate relationship between the two countries. You can't just say that they are utter enemies.... They have a lot of history, but the cultures love each other. There is constant trade and exchanging influences. Many Japanese study Korean and vice versa. They dislike each other as far as history is concerned, but individuals don't really care about that, so overall it's easier to say that they like each other.

If you really don't know the PEOPLE of a country why would you say such things? Of course! Every country has extremists that reject and hate everything that isn't their nation. America has it and it's called the Republican media that shoves misinformation down people's throats. Does that mean every citizen that lives here thinks like they do? To seriously post shit like this is degrading to a population. It's obvious not all citizens hate other Asians, and for unfounded reasons at that. If you knew what you were typing why would you even click the post button? Do you think about what you're typing, or even care? @_@;;? edit to the below, god dammit i was still making sure this made sense and u quoted me, hueuhehue People should stop posting about diplomatic relations and instead focus on how awesome this is. ![]()

And no, it's not only on the Internet. It's just that people browse forums and imageboards because they have nothing better to do, so they decide to discuss to waste time, nothing so serious.
