will be interesting to see how mvp does, assuming he also plays online from korea Hyun played in alot of EU cups so did Polt, both had alot of succes, it's challanging no doubt but not impossible by far. OT: Grats to Bunny and Feast.
Yes, but both Polt and Hyun are better than than Finale / Tails by a significant margin, and their competition at the cups was a lot lower. There were several good players (e.g. Nerchio), but not in this amount. Also Polt was playing in a much more favourable time, compared to the people playing from Korea.

WCS in general seems a lot cooler than when I first thought about it. I'm starting to get excited at the realisation of EU (and NA) having a GSL equivalent. Not the actual skill level of course, but a long-running league with a Premier (code S) and Challenger (code A) divisions. and within 2 seasons 75%+ of the players in both will be korean. So currently there's ForGG and MMA and Mvp in the EU premier. There's only 4 spots left and coincidently only 4 Koreans in the open bracket. Even if they fill all the remaining spots that'll make a total 7 Koreans, and with MC been the only Korean stating his intent to compete in EU in season two that'll make a maximum of 8, a good 50% off your figure. Sure NA isn't looking as peachy but meh.

You can probably download the replays from the bracket if you click on a matchup or look up voda at the twitch channels that streamed those games. Like wcs eu or taketv

So you agree, it's difficult not impossible, all those points are valid, i would never state that it's not hard for a korean to advance compared to a EU player of equal skill. but in the end it's irrelivent to try and make excuses, they wanne try to qualify in EU, so bad time and bad ping better be taken into account instead of being used as an excuse for a loss.

Welmu have been now two times so close! Hopely today he gets spot!

Bunny so gosu and sick damn!

A third millenium player is going to qualify today. One per day, that's the rule.

Finale got close I guess but that last game he played awful. Combination of a crappy time to play for KR plus the lag plus the low amount of koreans actually trying it wouldn't suprise me anymore if only europeans qualify. That would make it at least 1 european into global finals I suppose?
Would be interesting to see a better game from bunny using that style. His initial harass had just demolished finale already, especially the first 6 rines. Speed medivacs can feel so silly at times, especially if you hop from natural to main practically going over the stalkers and still outrunning them so much you can do good damage in the main as well. Hellbat drops are quite ok still, not so sure if it's really that much better than traditional MM drop but it sure is annoying to face. Unfortunately after that opening bunny could have finished with mass scv literally, he was just that far ahead economically.

Feast, rois des francs ! =D En tout cas les milléniums sont OP !
