Main Team 2 Bbyong2 Bisu (captain)4 Cure(Speed)10 Flash8 Innovation(Bogus)1 Zenio3 STX Soul Anti Team 3 Bear4 Last6 s2Went mainly for a strong Terran lineup, + the extra Bisu faith. 1) Flash + Bogus are the strongest Terrans, the heavy hitters of my team. 2) Cure is good, and has an aggressive style that probably will suit HotS well. 3) Bbyong seems like a good deal relatively to his first round opponents. Plus, 2 points for a 100% starter seems really cheap to me, considering that a lot of higher point players are not even played at all. 4) Bisu. The rebirth of the revolutionist. 5) Zenio. Cheapest Zerg to play in round 1, and I don't put too much trust in Zergs. 6) STX is solid :D Anti-team was easy :D These guys actually aren't playing at all in round 1. HUEHUEHUEHUE | ||

Hard to get a good feel for too many people because 1) I pay less attention to proleague 2) HoTS Nevertheless: Fantasy is probably going to become a monster at some point. The game just feels like it's made for him. Until that day, Bogus is my captain, he's already been proven. Bit of a reach with Jaedong, but I feel HotS zerg will play more to his style. An even bigger reach with Bisu...probably a massive one actually, but wtf I say. Hyvaa seemed like a decent to good zerg in WoL for STX and has been at the top of the ladder for some time. Alive is cheap and I feel he hasn't been utilizing his true ability for some time now. Maybe he'll do better now that it's proleague and he has a new team as well as a new game. I had 2 points to spare but went with EG-TL anyway, just because. Hence the name of my team ^^ | ||

Flash as captain is mandatory and I'll pick him until he costs 31 points. Fantasy was cheap at 5, as was Jangbi. Jaedong was kinda cheap at 4, and Bisu is cheap at 2 (improved from being a 1-pointer!). Got all my favorites, right there. This left me 4 points, so I picked KT for 3, which was a pretty sweet deal. Then I picked Brown, one of the only 1-pointers I can actually see winning - and he's starting in the first week in a PvP. Could be worse. Realistically, Flash usually doesn't pay for himself with that high starting cost; Fantasy is kinda risky after his shaky late performance, but boosters should help him a lot; Jangbi is all-round solid, and should pay for himself and give a few extra points. Jaedong isn't the best, but if he gets enough ZvZs I'm sure he'll get a few points. Bisu actually won stuff in The Special, but I think SKT winning will probably net more points for him than he himself will gather. Mentioned Brown above, and he's on SKT so. Anti-team was just an almost random pick. Just chose some players that others have picked, so we'll see. I'm probably not going to do very well with this team, but man, it will be hella fun to follow. Looking forward to it! | ||

Anyway, I have great faith in both Bisu and Demuslim to do well. I have the strangest hunch that Demuslim is going to jump up and have a great year in 2013. JYP didn't do half bad for EG-TL during the past rounds, though he did have some demoralizing losses that worry me a litte. P7GAB and RorO both have impressive records this season, and I'm hoping RorO can adapt to Zerg's challenges in HoTS to continue doing well. And of course I had to have TaeJa, because he is my favorite Terran player/favorite player ever. SK Telecom got picked for my team simply because of Boxer. As for the Anti Team, I was none too impressed with Liquid HerO during the past rounds, as much as I wanted him to succeed. Same goes for Jaedong. He just looked a little shaky in anything that wasn't ZvZ. CJ herO I picked on a lark because I needed more than 13 points. | ||

Originally chose Taeja, but he isn't playing this round for some reason. bisu is a huge steal at 2 points considering he is being played both matches. Was also considering brown because he is being fielded and only 1 point and on skt, but opted for more mid point players. All my other players should be able to win some games. Anti team pretty easy this round. S2 is overrated at 6 points and songduri isn't going to be played and on a weak team. I'm a bit worried about skyhigh but I might switch him out for a weaker 4 pointer if there is one. | ||

Bisu playing again yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah :D aLive and Oz look like they're going to be used a lot in Proleague and should perform better than what they're valued at. I think Brown is going to be one of the sleeper picks or at least the 1 pointer that'll get the most playing time. Bisu is risky since he hasn't done anything in SC2 and he plays twice so this could really backfire on me, but it's HOTS, almost a whole new game, I dunno. Rain and RorO should play well for me, at least, for this week since they have favourable matchups twice this week. I picked SKT1 over Woongjin since they play twice this week even though I think Woongjin has more of a chance to 4-0 or 4-1 their opponents. | ||
