Gonna be so funny if Naniwa then proceeds to lose to Thorzain or before he even gets to face Thorzain

Probably Acer. Fnatic is possible I suppose but they did end their Korean operations, so its a little interesting that they'd be sending people over to Korea but certainly not impossible. Acer still seems more likely though. Would be a good pick up for them for sure.

I don't get this guy. Wanting to prove you are the best is perfectly normal but he seems to take it personally against Thorzain (based on several other interviews), who is one of the nicest guys in the scene and never even implies that he is the best swede. Anyway, does anyone have any brackets or dates when this tournament will take place?

Haha, you tell them Naniwa. I like it when players speak their mind and are competitive as fuck.

Well, if Thorzain is anything like us other swedes, he will act nice and innocent but when noone is watching he'll let Hitler march thru Sweden to attack Norway. =)

Great news! I hope he is joining a Korean team, it seems like his motivation to be the best work work well with that type of lifestyle, though perhaps his attitude won't fit so well. I hope he keeps to his word and beats Thorzain, I would really like to see Naniwa win another tournament.

WOW i guess EG finally got him, has to be EG plus he said hes going to Korea so I assume he wants to play in proleague for EGTL as they just got rid of one of its players.

EG, Acer or Western Wolves. I think it could really be EG, because Alex said, they're gonna look for new players and Naniwa has the potential to help them in PL. Acer is also likely.

Oh, I remember the last time NaNiwa played ThorZaIN (DreamHack Winter 2012). He went down 0-2 and called terran fucking imba after that, because he went chargelot-archon vs mass ghosts late game and, to the surprise of no one but NaNiwa, it didn't work. Yeah...

I have grown more fond of NaNiwa because of his nice streams and it seemed that he changed his attitude, but such statements - he should cut some of his "smacktalk" imo.

Oh and his team is probably going to be WW or Acer.

can anyone translate the interview he is giving atm?
they ae talking about king in the north and shit, it sounds interressting

Okay well I give short version.

So first he said that it felt nicer than he thought to win the tournament, especially since it was home territory for him. He lives and is raised only an hour away from Mölmö. About the King in the north Naniwa said he doesn't like to be compared to Thorzain because he considered himself superior a player. Although he said he realized the comparison because his emotional slumps makes them look closer than they really are.

They then asked if anyone could stop him in the SM-final, to which he said it might happen but he thinks he has the highest potential of all players in Sweden as long as he trains well and keeps his emotions in check.

Naniwa then talked about his play style and way of tactical thinking. He wants to have a specific plan already set for every possible situation and how it has several steps of planing depending on different scenarios, so in general it is based on mass experience and memory. As well as actually coming up with solutions of course.

They finally talked briefly about DH Stockholm and Naniwa said he winning a DH was one of his big goals this year.

people may find him undesirable, but he without a doubt has the drive to be the best.

I'm pretty sure it's not anything personal against Thorzain and a lot of his comments regarding Thorzain is very much tongue in check. It's more evident when he's interviewed in Swedish.

If it were EG they would have picked him up already and considering you have Hwanni and double Park running the show in Korea. I think it's pretty clear that they're trying to address their Terran needs. That and once Team 8 folds. BaBy, Jaehoon and Terminator would be the first to find new teams.
