Drone barbecue is the bomb-diggity. And that's all I have to say about Zerg rights. I wonder, does PETA only care about "cute" animals like cartoon Zerglings and livestock? I'm fully aware that they don't give a fuck about people but what about insects? If anything, the zerg are like giant insects...

I have thought that kids these days spend too much time on the internet and with their "smart" phones, but this is a new step. Let me provide a fitting soundtrack for them ... Don't you think you are taking this a TAD too seriously? Signs were going down the drain is when people like you can't even take something as it is, a JOKE, instead of surrounding it with drama.

PETA doesn't get half the ass-kicking it deserves. Then again, I commit murder by proxy and eat the results while wearing the skins when the weather gets cold. But I don't try to pretend I'm a saint, either, or try to use the warmth and feeling created by another entity to create empathy and connection for the purpose of increasing fund raising revenues. Yeah, there's a lot of people upset with PETA in this thread, but then PETA has done a lot of things worth being upset about. And think of the Zerg... PETA is poking fun at an enslaved race that has been subject to constant persecution, genocide campaigns - how can any Zerg feel happy about having THAT brought up all over again? Zergs have feelings too, man.

Zergs have feelings too, man. The thing about the PETA campaign is part of a "current trend" of not taking things seriously. [1] Treating animals well is important and we rather need to do it because we (well the human race) will suffer from it in the long run. Having big salmon farms which feed those fish with lots of grains AND antibiotics does reduce the efficiency of those antibiotics for us humans in the long run; the same method of feeding is used for basically any concentrated animal production. And why is this done? For cheaper meat and more profit. Just buy your meat from a shop where you know it is produced in a more natural way. Concering clothing I wouldnt be so sure that you wear anything obtained from a killed animal, because most leather these days is just plastics filled with a tiny bit of leather powder and aroma. Many other clothing materials are made of artificial fabrics. We have a "recycling" system in germany for one-use plastic bottles. They are collected at the shops and then go all the way to china (half around the globe) where they are spun into very fine thread and turned into T-shirts and pullovers and whatnot just to be carted back to us in germany again. It is wasteful transports like this "trip around the earth in two legs" which no organization or government really cares about. The same is true for the care of animals ... consumers just dont care anymore and the PETA campaign shows how desperate they are about getting any attention. [1] Myths and our history are treated rather badly by companies like Disney with such "funny cartoons" like their Hercules; but they arent alone and the Kevin Sorbo Hercules was a joke as well. The pinnacle of nonsensical stuff is obviously the whole Twilight junk ...
