Downloading GOM VODs from GOMTV IS easy. Do it whenever I want to watch GOM videos on my phone and don't want to kill my data plan in the process, and then delete them because I don't want to fill up my phone.

I guess we should get a list of recommended VODs going.
I'll start with:
GSL August Finals Game 1
GSL November Finals, all of it.
Blizzard Cup Game 7
Nestea vs sC in the Semi Finals of GSL May, especially game 5.
That one day in GSL October where every series was amazing, TvT's and TvZ's.
But if you only have time for one game, watch NesTea vs HuK on Tal'Darim Altar in GSL November, the best game of all time.

GOM seems to be making this a regular thing, making the VODs that came out 2 years ago free. They did this for the 2010 Open seasons last year, making them free. It makes sense. Nobody's gonna buy VODs for an event that took place 2 years ago, so might as well get the ad revenue from people watching those vods for free.

If I remember correctly, VODs up to July or so has been free for a while, so this is another 4~5 months that gets free this time. Don't think they suddenly released 12 months worth, although it is nice anyways.

Awesome, I can hardly wait to see the old GSL's that I missed, I'll watch them gradually in my free time and bask in the memories of times past, and I'll be able to relive some of the old finals I did get to see, including Blizzcup finals!

Depends on where u live (life?, sry not my mothers tongue) and what GOM says about it.
Technically you download it by watching VODs anyways - so in some countries its allowed to also keep it as a private copy.
I don't know if GOM says anything about it tbh, since I can permanently access their VODs online just by logging in, I never downloaded their videos

No, my method is with a ticket, or at least some way of accessing the video on GOM. Essentially, I use a program to just copy the video from my browser's cache. Since, like Rollora said, those flash videos are downloaded on to your computer.
However, it's against the Terms of Use for some sites. You're technically not supposed to do it with Youtube, for example, but there are a multitude of programs that allow you to do so. I'm not quite sure about GOM's ToU, but it's best to not risk it and not blatantly post directions on the forums.
Me, I'm just of the opinion that it's okay if I'm just using it for my own personal use. I do it for 2 reasons:
1. My computer literally cannot handle 720p flash videos on my browser. It's like 7-8 years old. The audio's fine but the video stutters if I watch it from my browser. However, I can watch them without any problems if I download the video and watch it on MPC. So really, downloading the video and watching it from MPC is the only way I can watch the video in HD.
2. Sometimes I want to watch the video on my phone when I'm not at home (and my phone can handle 720p). However, 3G/4G connections isn't reliable everywhere. That could be very bad if you're trying to watch a 720p vod. Not to mention for stuff like GOM VODs, it could really use up my Data Plan quickly. So, again, not much of a choice. I'd just watch them normally if GOM/Youtube had the option of selecting which videos you want to pre-load and download them at home.
I don't distribute them in any shape or form, and delete them afterward because they take up a lot of space. Fionn wanted it to just make a Music Video, so it's just for his own personal use as well.

Wow, what a great game. TvZ was so much more fun back then, when you had engagements during the midgame, instead of TvZ in the twilight of WoL, when it was a rush for the late game hive ball. The back and forth with the muta-ling-bling vs marine tank armies was beautiful.

For anyone who has never seen it: Leenock vs Jjakji. I missed it at the time, but it's easily the best finals with some of the greatest TvZ and ZvT play around.
