FXOLucky vs MarineKingPrimeAphrodite and Eve are both players who have been consistently competitive in the SC2 scene since the beginning. They've never been able to get into a GSL or step up on the stage together but they've both established results within female only tournaments and have been raising their skills.

The minute this news was announced that two female gamers would be opening off the GSTL pre season, the community gave quite the excited responses. The fact that two female pro gamers were going to be opening up the first ever HotS GSTL and the fact that a lot of fans have been eagerly anticipating both players performances since they have been known to hold tremendous talent, seen through their streams, all adds up to why this event will be so significant.
So far, neither players have actually ever faced off against each other in Korea before. However, they did play each other during the 2012 Iron Lady Leetgion Tournament back in April, where Aphrodite took down Eve twice and then went on to take second place after losing to
