On your list only Yeonsu stands out as a really great map. Other than that I think Apollo matches could be fun to watch and Cyclone is solid. The rest is pretty meh imo.

The only thing I'd like to see is Cloud Atlas' in base natural be mineral only as compensation or 1 gas less minerals. I also love the weird mini paths into the backs of the naturals on the space map.

I really like that idea too. Forces you to build something there or put, for example, a Zealot in front of it to block it.

Some of which have glaring problems prima facie that first need to be addressed. Why isnt this set of maps our ladder pool, seriously... Ultimately, a lot about maps can't be decided by theorycrafting, you need playtesting. I often make maps, play them against friends and they find ridiculous holes in the to break them which I have to adjust. It seems very SC2 style to me. Also: lol @ people getting almost pissed at each other in this thread, and each one seeming elevating their opinion to factual status. Grow up, yeah, the author basically lumped a bunch of makes he or she personally liked into a topic, some other people don't like them and feel therefore they shouldn't be there. As someone who has the dubious honour of getting in. Seriously, it's personal opinion. I will say this, including my map when it's untested speaks a dubious amount of audaciousness, the map throws all rules out so hard you really can't know if it has a modicum of balance without extensive testing.

Always a fan of NewSunshine's work. Wasn't expecting Yeonsu to be so popular when I first started making it!
