A successful European team? You're joking right? What about their older, godlike CS 1.6 roster with f0rest and cArn on it? What about e-Sport legends like Vo0, Toxjq and other world class players ike strenx and Stermy that comepted for them in Quake and Painkiller? I'm just saying. In fact their all-Swedish CS line-up is probably the biggest reason Fnatic has been so successful and well-known in competitive gaming.
So yeah, Fnatic haven't been as Korean-dominated as you seem to indicate.

I hope Oz and aLive go to KeSPA teams and get back into shape. Both players fell off hard during their time with fnatic.

Or even better, haul them over here to Europe! Though I don't know whether they would regain their old strength from that.

Wonder what will happen to aLive and Oz though. Both have fallen pretty hard since they are on Fnatic. I disagree with your statement. If you had said that they're in pretty deep of a slump right now, I would have agreed with you. But they haven't "fallen pretty hard since they are on Fnatic". In fact, let me point this out. aLive never actually accomplished anything worthy of that much recognition during his stay with TSL. It was on Fnatic that he reached his peak, in winning IPL4 as well as placing top 4 in Code S and Iron Squid. Oz on the other hand, yeah he's declined a bit, although not that terrible either, he's been doing quite decently at MLGs and even got top 4 in one if I'm not mistaken. More on topic, this is an interesting turn of events although not that shocking for those who are aware of Fnatic's pre-SC2 activity. Will be looking forward to their new pickups. ^^ You're totally right, he accomplished those things while he was on Fnatic. But he was trained from TSL and was a top player just after joining Fnatic. After he stayed on Fnatic for more than a little bit, he fell and fell. He was still a pretty decent player, but no IPL winner for damn sure. My point is, he was made by TSL, not by Fnatic. aLive fell after joining Fnatic. Even when he got top 4 in Iron Squid he wasn't playing as well as when he was in TSL. Nobody realizes that even though he didn't win anything major in TSL, he was one of the top top top players in Korea right before he left TSL. Anyways, glad they are sticking with Europe. Fnatic always makes amazing Korean runs (remembering Moon and Remind from WC3, and was Remind's partner FoCuS? or another Korean?) but Koreans always make their teams. Neither Moon nor Remind played for Fnatic. Moon played for MYM and WeMade Fox, and Remind played for MYM and SK. Fnatic had two WC3 teams, a European one with NaNiwa, Satiini, RotterdaM, elfi, XyLigan, Rob, DieSel etc, and a Korean one with Shy, FoCuS, Space, Yange, MinHyuk (and viOlet for 1 month lol). FoCuS was Remind's partner, but it was during their time with MYM, FoCuS then moved to Fnatic with his friends from Clan Go, whilst Remind stayed with MYM.

Amazing news. I hope they make more video content in the future. Nightend is an amazing guy. Gl Fnatic!

Great news for the EU Fnatic guys but makes me wonder what will happen with their korean players

Finally, they're coming home :3

Somewhat disenchanting that the release of Luvsic a.k.a. "J" from Fnatic is nothing but a footnote in the OP.
"[...] but unfortunately with the house closing down and J looking to stay in a team house we simply can't have him on our roster. We wish him the best in finding a team that supports him."
After Fnatic have pulled the plug on their Korean adventure, I see Oz and aLive leaving for greener pastures -- preferably in Korea -- rather sooner than later. With these plans of the Fnatic organization now made official, no wonder at least their European players were not concerned at all. Well, good luck in Europe.
