I have no problem with PartinG getting the money he deserves. I have every problem with the fact it means we'll never see him play in things like IPTL or other not-korean events, aside from maaaybe MLG if he gets one of the lucky 3-4 seeds they hand out every blue moon, and WCS. I don't consider his fault.

Perhaps that in the event of multiple equal highest bid, there will be a random draw? i believe that the salary has already been agreed between kespa and parting. now its left for which team who is willing to pay that salary to get him. and if multiple teams applied, it is decided by random draw.

This is surprising. And a draw... really?

CJ, SKT1, KT, may be only these teams can offer PartinG's salary?

And so begins ESF losing its star/best players to Kespa because they have more money ;/
Parting deserves this, so good for him, it just sucks for Startale.
The good news is they said his international tournament participation won't be limited, at least for now. He qualified for IEM and will be going there next weekend.

PR. SPL (and OSL when it's on) is put first, which is on almost daily. It crowds out the timetable and makes attending non-kespa tourneys incredibly difficult. EG even said that's the entire reason why they've suddenly invested in tons of players, to get around that fact. They won't let an ace player just haphazardly compete in whatever comps, online or offline, they want, if it sacrifices SPL/OSL practice/prep.

I think Samsung, because they send out Stork and JangBi a lot, so...
PartinG being there might help them? :D

I think Khan and Soul will put in a bid for sure. T1 and CJ might. Woongjin, kt and T8 probably pass.

PLEASE CJ_PartinG :D :D :D

I wonder how much is KeSPA paying him. I mean, he got a personal sponsorship from Red Bull, no? So, the amount must have been pretty decent to beat that.

Guess in a few months we'll never see PartinG in anything ever but SPL, OSL and maybe WCS. yeah, parting to kespa is pretty ughh Kind of surprising to see him go to a KeSPA team though. Wonder what the motivation was? Does he think he can make the big bucks there, and not with a foreign team? Or did he fail with foreign teams? Really hope he goes to STX/Khan/T8. STX hasn't been in as much trouble recently, but they always get the short end of the stick Speculation: he wants more stability on his career. pretty much this. Tell me one team that wont face the possibility of disbanding unexpectedly aside from EG/TL
I'm probably the only one who feels that this is an incredible betrayal.
