In my opinion, yes. Whenever I look up forums, chats etc. Fantasy almost never mentioned unless he has an upcoming match. Well my statement was based mostly on comparison with Flash.

Fantasy's TLPD stats so far in sc2 are sick, It's as good as Mvp's were when he first started crushing in Jan 2011. He's at 74% or 75% winrate overall and above 82-83% in TvT.
And yeah, he is still a bit underrated, I think it will change soon once more people notice him though.

I'm so surprised that Fantasy thinks there was a large gap between him and Flash. Flash is amazing, but Fantasy is so smart (and has SKT Terran pedigree and Boxer tutelage).
SO looking forward to Bisu All-Kills. That would be so rad.

some of it is a bit inflated from frankenleague (fanta was 7-1 there), which probably aren't the best games to judge from imo

I don't think anyone is ignoring how good Fantasy is (they'd be stupid to do so because he's crazy good). It is just unfortunate that he still is in the shadow of Flash, somehow. Past achievements stick with us for a long time, and Flash is easy to hype, I guess.

The reason  Fantasy is considered a lesser player than Flash is that he was relying a lot on iloveoov's build orders and tactics in bw. He would easily drop games against lesser opponents when his prepared builds didnt work out. Also he not that good with bio in bw.

There's no shame in saying that, because it applies to pretty much every other player who ever picked up BW. You played BW? Then you're in Flash's shadow. And Flash fans shouldn't be worried, because he's still younger than most and he's definitely getting better and better. I have a feeling that SC2 will soon be ruled by a Terran triumvirate of Flash/Fantasy/Bogus, and I can't wait to see that.
Of course Bisu will one day surpass them all. He's just pretending to suck right now so that he can repeat the '07 Revolution.

Flash's style does seem more impressive. Makes you go "where the fuck are these units coming from?"
However i much prefer fantasy's style from an entertainment value. Very harass focused multitask play is exhilarating to watch

Fantasy has by far the picture-perfect buildorders and execution, while having room to express his distinct ''terrorist'' aggressive playstyle. In his game(s) versus Jaedong, at the time in 8th Team, he showcased how to transition from hellion/banshee into a map-covering bio push. He had an answer to everything, ling-runbys, infestors and even broodlords. The terrorist wouldnt be the terrorist if he didnt used his initial medivac, and the two following it, for multi-pronged drops. The brilliance in his buildorder is that he was ahead in upgrades, took the third on equal pacing, and even made early vikings to kill overlords covering drop-paths. Jaedong couldnt spread his ling/muta/infestor too thin, and took severe damage from the initial drops. By far one of my favorite KeSPA players in the scene with a signature style.

Kinda weird to me too that people would say he is underrated.. He's was wort 9 points in FPL which is only one less than Flash. It's understandable that Flash gets talked about way more, as he was the top dawg in BW for a long time until the very end (yes, it was Fantasy who destroyed him pretty badly in a BO5). Jaedong gets mentioned a ton too, and he certainly has not been as impressive in SC2 as he was in BW. He's good, but not amazing.
I guess my point is: if you're going to compare Fantasy to Flash, who gets all the attention and is probably not as good in SC2 as Fantasy is, and then say Fantasy is underrated, you might as well say that pretty much everyone is underrated except for Flash and Rain.

It's for all rounds. The season is 7.5 months long I believe so it's very possible. He has less then 32 also
