All 3 teams ´ve been shooter based from start, with some FiFA and WC3, they never had connections to SC/BW

Terran: Polt, Supernova, TOP, TheStC Zerg: Violet, Sleep, YuGiOh Protoss: Genius, Inca, Eve Have enough to play in GSTL, Violet/Polt win all the North American qualifiers and make bank across the world at foreign tournaments, and then call the Korean American Cowboy Duo to Korea once every once and a while to compete in a GSL or help win an important GSTL match. They would have the best two English speaking Koreans dominating America and being the face of their franchise, and they'd have a strong team back in Korea for GSTL/GSL and other Korean events. They would instantly become a top team with foreign and Korean presence.

Well it was already posted that they're discussing a contract with him and TOP, so I included them. Also not the best crop of Protoss free agents out there right now except if they want to get Naniwa or Arthur. A core of Polt, Violet, Genius, Supernova and TheStC would be a strong team globally and in Korea. Suepernova is a top notch Terran who just fell backwards after moving teams.

In the beginning phase of SC2 you could hear some voices from these teams that even half-decent SC2 players are too expensive. I am not sure if this is still the case right now since so many mid-level players have left the scene. On the other hand, I don't think SC2 players are too greedy in particular. They are mostly older than their counterparts in other games and they have to invest more time to get better, so they need more money to sustain their lives. Also, most of these teams were around when the WC3 salary bubble bursted (MYM inflated players salaries without generating ROI), so they are not too keen to invest into salaries. Also, they had to go through the global financial crisis which killed sponsorship deals. Don't know if it still affects them though.

All 3 teams ´ve been shooter based from start, with some FiFA and WC3, they never had connections to SC/BW MYM today is a totally different organization than back when it was Danish. They simply bought the name. Quote from Liquipedia: The team was founded in 2001 as a Danish company, and enjoyed wide success through various eSport titles including Counter-Strike 1.6, WarCraft III, Defence of the Ancients (DotA) and FIFA amongst others. The organisation went bankrupt in 2009, but later that same year, it was acquired by new German management, and continues to operate to date, with divisions in StarCraft II, DotA 2, League of Legends and FIFA. Also, as others have pointed out already, at least two of them did in fact have Starcraft teams.
