Correction: Daily ESPORTS mistakenly reported earlier that Jaedong would return to Team Eight immediately should they find a sponsor. This was a misunderstanding; Jaedong's 1 year period with EG is binding. |

I remember when BoxeR streamed a bit, dude got like 1000 viewers with mic and webcam. NaDa didn't have many, Mvp had like ~2000 something. ForGG and Sea spiked in the beginning but are around 1-2k now on good days I think. Sick players like Leenock doesn't seem to ever break 1k whenever I see him online and put my cursor over his stream name.
I know it's mother fucking Jaedong but people wants to watch foreigners and drama pretty much...

but wait... is he gonna get the EG curse now? D:

OK I'm backing away slowly here, sorry for the fans I've upset
Well I hope he does show results for EG and not end up an ageing superstar trying SC2 for one more shot at a career, like JulyZerg and Nada.

I know hes a big hero from SC1 but if he can't really produce any results what good is he? PR value?
It's a big step to go from "he is currently Code A" to "he can't really produce any results, what good is he?". Back in BW people used to consider ZvZ a coinflip. After Jaedong's domination of ZvZ and absurd win-rate, they called his mirror matches JvZ (Jaedong vs Zerg). He was that damn good. Players like him and Flash, with dedication to SC2, will be top players easily. I can't wait to see more Jaedong, and especially as he dedicates to SC2... and streams for us!!

Pretty much. It's kind of sad how some good players don't get high viewership whereas some guys get more for entertainment value.
They have their reasons but yeah I don't see JD surpassing guys like Stephano.

Nah I'm pretty sure everyone is going to stop whatever they're doing and watch. It'll level out for a bit afterwards, but the initial viewership will be tremendous.

Junhao/7. Maybe I'll start to like EG.

Does that mean two curses would combine together and turn into blessing? (Like minus times minus = plus)

If he has a career in SC2 as solid as Boxers then its a win. If he has a career likce Nada then it will be sad. But as you can see, BW fans will get rabid which gives EG more dirty money. Which makes it a win for them. And their dirty money.

Here comes the "CURSED" threads.

Holy crap balls. I still am not a fan of EG but will always be a fan of jaedong.
